actually realistically there have been people who have used throwable poison, but it is in the cloud form. but you hit someone in the face and they breath it will still affect them, and your instinct on being hit in the face is to take in a quick breath.
So again, enough with the bitching, i'm asking what do people prefer:
1. dodgable like it is now
2. dodging based on a skill/stat
3. always hit if the thrower doesn't fubar it up.

i think it would make it to powerful if you always hit, and dodgeing is possible so i say leave alone..but make it so monsters cant do it as often as they do...their fast little buggers!

either 2 or 3, atm mages just dance around me casting whatever spell they want. I kinda like the idea of tactics or a stat influencing whether or not they get poisened but something needs to be done.

Well us warriors cant fizzle every mages spell which it should be able to. There shouldnt be any dodgeing of poison pots just poison pots that fizzle all spells like before

Well if people can dodge spells (resist), I guess pots should also be dodgeable.

I agree with judas, Tactics should give a chance to dodge poison pots but pots shouldn't target the tile.

tactics and/or parrying should judge the chance you have on dodging a p pot.
getting hit by a pot should immediately fizzle a spell being a casted.
2 cents.

Bob can we have this applied to the game? tactics, parrying or both influence whether you are hit by the p pot. Also make it so p pots fizzle the spell as soon as they hit the target not on first dmg. Lastly, the timer on P pots occurs once the poison potion is double clicked rather then when it is used.

I prefer the idea of p pots landing regardless of any skill. I just want them to be fixed so I have a change against mages. Besides, your skill in poisoning all ready influences your chance to land the pot

Personally I always liked the older version. Throw the pot and their poisoned and you get a gain.
However, I am all up for change. So whatever happens, I guess, happens.

Well the fact that they can cure it right away anyway what does it matter whether they dodge or not anyway?
