I can
almost see your point.
On one hand, with Anatomy tied in with Healing, it seems to imply careful study and books, as it rightly should.
On the other, I think as a warrior walks his or her path, they will slowly learn over time what parts of the body to strike for that extra point or two of damage.
However, I suspect that your concern stems more from the fact that many people want to lock in their Anatomy at a certain point. This is understandable.
This may relate in part to how the race balance debate is going. (
http://www.dxgaming.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=19190) But I can't help but think that a game would be pretty boring if NONE of your minor (non-GM) skills ever changed once you got them to where you wanted. I just can't see a warrior saying "Oh! You didn't see that! Do no learn!"
In short, does this help? Or did I hit the nail on the head with the fact that people want to lock certain skills at a level they choose?
