not really sure what it was supposed to look like..but,all but the vendors near the bank turned into daemons.
i never saw anything that notifeid us that it was under attack, i heard there was supposed to be a statue at bank saying how many were left, didnt see that. i was in town when it happened and didnt receive any "points"..and when we were almost done killing all of the daemons, the vendors came back and called the guards and it was over. not sure if anything more was supposed to happen, or if this is how it goes...but thought i would post.

They rescued vesper yesterday. Today were just left overs. When town is rescued it takes like a day or 2 to return to normal i think.

Are you sure Blackthorn? I was there when Bob was testing/hosting it. The impression I got from him was that it was a one time event that was scripted and reoccurred. He never said anything about residuals. Therefore, being present at both "events" today I would say that the event this afternoon was a misfire--considering the npcs didn't initially call guards until like 45 min after we were clearing them out. That's my take.

do these have a timeline on how long they last? or until they are cleared?
how is it you get your "points"?

From what I understand from my talk with Bob is they last until it is completed. The stone can be anywhere in the statue (at least if the event is started manually). Players will need to kill all npc monsters until the count is less than 10 then activate the statue. Keep posting about the invasion scripts when they do happen. It will let Bob make them better.

Is the statue supposed to be in one spot always, or do we have to go find it each time?, ive heard it is supposed to be at the bank?

Good question. When Bob was testing it out it was at the bank. But it would be pretty difficult to search for it when the spawn rate is so high. I think it would be cool to send a runner, just like the Battle of Marathon, to a specific location (i.e. the bank) to the statue.
