What are your thoughts concerning the ability of explosion potions to deal damage through wall potions?

I think the pots should be removed completely. IMO it makes pvp suck ass, all they gotta do is flamestrike and throw a pot at you and your health is down to around 20 hp.

Well in my opinion I always thought the a E-pot (explosion pot) should not be able
to do damage through a W-pot (wall pot) due to the dense layout of the wall.
Allowing it to go through the wall and do damage doesn't seem to make that much
sense, and also like Apocalypse mentioned above me...it does seem bad if one
could kill you after one flamestrike and a toss of a E-pot

I like it... Gave a good touch of reality to the game. But they shouldn't deal damage through walls though.

how is it realistic?
a purple fluid that explodes and can kill someone with full armor harder then iron with only 3 pots... cuz you know how that bottle glass shrapnel penetrates armor
that doesn't = realism
realistically it would probably just stun or blind someone

Alright from both perspectives.
Realism:
Actually chips, an explosive force like that can kill you, especially in armor. You have to take into account not only the shrapnel, but the concussive force, which is amplified by the rigid armor. For a good example of this, a relatively recent show called "Deadliest Warrior" had some grenade pots vs an armored knight. It's psuedo science, but it gives enouh data to draw your conclusions from.
Balance:
I already lowered their damage considerably. They ended up doing a lot more damage than they were meant to in the upgrade due a difference in how they are processed vs t3a. This should get them more in-line.
this change does NOT AFFECT old pots, i'm going to fix old pots retroactively later this week when patching gets fixed.
I will be tweaking it til lit's down in the range of T3A, or i will be recoding the potion completely.
As for the walls i can leave it up ot you guys, but explosives can get through walls pretty easily, even solid stone, because it runs through the mortar or hurls the stones themselves. So i can see either way

Seeing as how the wall looks pretty solid, I doubt a liquid could squeeze through the cracks, seeing as how when you throw a glass bottle at a solid stone wall, it would shatter and the liquid would splatter on the wall, not go through the cracks.
Also, can we get the stone walls to wall over npc's and players, like it was back in t3a? Also have animals not be able to walk over a wall and trample the stone to death?

how about energy walls stop wall potions, while stone walls do not?
or maybe have pots kill a piece of the wall instead of doing actual damage to the players

Or can we have that the if a explosion pot does blow-up near a wall then it either does minimal damage (as in like a little after shock).
I also like the idea that Nightmare proposed, make part of the wall collapse because of the explosion the pot creates (as long as the pot explodes relatively close to the wall of course).

actually it ended up with like 3 kills out of 1000
so, nah, and i remeber the episode, knight vrs pirate..
the bomb actually didn't produce deadly force, its like being shot with a bullet proof vest. itll hurt like a punch not a bullet...
aka itll put you on your ass not kill you
modern grenades like the M-4 have like a deadly blast radius of like 5-15 feet,
now whens obsi set? 1600-1700 (i suck with history)
and plate mail was ment to take strikes or pressure, it shouldn't be rigid at all.. that makes no sense..
at the same time, were talking about walking to gold fishes.. it makes no sense to balance> realism
and still shouldnt produce 50 HP worth a damage
edit-
stupid idea nightmare, walls would be pointless

The drawback of explosion pots going through walls is that when someone is trying to 1v1 through a wal someone can come along and throw pots and help out his buddy.

Which seemed to be the cause to today's amount of fighting at Vesper bridge. Either I was not looking correctly at who throw the pot, but I swear I could see multiple pots being thrown by others that were not involved in the actual fight.
That doesn't seem like a fair fight when others interfere on behalf of your opponent
