This was Probley said in another thread but I was wondering if you could make Ignots weight less then ore like it used to Be. When i smelt the ore into ignots i still weight the same.
Also a suggestion for something that would be nice to add ingame would be a pack horse or somthing that can carry ore.

Yup, I'd like to see then made a little less weighty. I like the idea of reintroducing pack animals, although they're a long time broken beastie if i remember correctly :)

Pack animals were disabled long before i started playing here, something about the strength needed to carry stuff made them serious gank animals I believe.

I recently witnessed a player's demise at the er...hooves (?) of four or five llamas :P

Infact I think kingblacktorn was the owner of said llamas hehe.

Anyways back to topic, could the 'kill/attack' commands not just be removed from the animals themselves - like with the 'fetch/get/bring' & 'patrol' & 'guard'? commands...actually I'm not sure if guard works, also not sure if patrol has ever worked :) It'd just mean if you where dumb enough to attack someone's pack beastie you'd get your arse kicked heh

Anyways the guys in charge could probably figure a smarter work around :D

EDIT: re-reading the original post, i forgot smelting does not reduce weight...supposed to be removing impurities to leave behind the metals...no? I feel like I've asked these questions before

Tax is right. It could be made so that pack animals would not react to certain commands. It would also be simple enough to zero out damage before it is given in the scripting. Either way, or even both in tandem would be a good fix for this.

I am not 100% sure that is the reason they were removed tho that is just what i have heard since playing here.

i think maybe they were removed because they were so hard to tame you could pretty much gm taming on one in a day or so.

Ahh yeah, actually i remember hearing this previously. Either way though, if they could be fixed & reintroduced we'd appreciate it :)

Yup, mining seems to have slowed down, the ores themselves are stubborn coming outta the ground - then ya fail. I wouldn't begrudge the loss so much if I were a lesser skilled miner/smith, but it's slightly frustrating at gm :?

OMG yes that is so annoying i sometimes fail like 8 or 9 times on one tile. Mining is tedious and time consuming as it is we don't need to make it more time consuming and less rewarding or noone will do it.

The pack animals were removed because some people were loading them up with purple potions and then blowing them sky high. You can put two and two together to work out what that meant :P
