Firstly I welcome you all to the new Obsidian Shard website! This design might be familiar to some and to the others I hope you enjoy!
Along with the website redesign have been a few fixes and new features you may or may not notice. Server status is back up and operational for those who are intrested and hopefully I'll get some time to redesign it a little later this week. A new mirror download system has been setup that will spread the load across our servers a little better when there is high demand for the full installer.
Finally the account creation script has been updated to help remove so issues that plagued new players. The login name box has been shrunk down so people don't create a username longer then the server allows, and we've also changed the email verifier to allow dashes and underscores in your email address. Hopefully that will help some woes.
While this probably won't be noticeable we moved the patch server to a new location so it should bog the server down less and downloads should be faster.
And yes I have been working on coding again. Right now my focus is on bug fixes and while some have already been implemented I'll make a full announcement when I launch the full patch at the end of this week.
Hopefully this new development activity will make some of you very happy.

My Faith in Obis is now back and i feel like i have been a jerk about telling ppl about other games in this Forum and i would just like to say sorry to all the ppl i been i tit to lately (i.e staff bugging them WAYYYYYYY to much...) am just goin sit back and craft away so players have somewhere to buy pots and stuff from The Geo so i will be like a Player vendor i guess yay! i will be on now and again guys but what with this weeks exams won't be on that much untill Friday night imma be on ALLLLLLL night so be like a Friday Night Half price sale on all items i.e -int pots 5k=2.5 
P.S Good Job BB man i know you will do good i will try to keep the pking at a all time low.....

this is great. this is just the kind of thing that will bring the ppl who stoped play back and attract more.. the weps in town and all that mess is wonderfull i cant wait to see what u do on poison...
poison as i see is the biggest flaw.. about every aspect of it needs to be considered.. if u need any player advice from someone who has delt with poison alot as in a pvp aspect feel free to ask
