Ashes please read my post on that thread you just mentioned, which (incidentally) I actually posted BEFORE I read your post above. I am glad that we are on the same page.

Echo is a great mod (incidentally for that forum) and staff member so this is in no way against him, but I am going to try and move the moderators over to a more relaxed stance on issues like this.

Of course, the forum rules still apply - and if the conversation turns from harmless banter to actively promoting or facilitating illegal activities then this will be stopped.

This is a free country, and talking about smoking weed will not get you in trouble, hell, smoking it will even rarely get you in trouble.
Incorrect.
I'm fairly sure we are all mature enough to have a discussion about it aswell.
I think we are mature enough to not need the discussion.

How does maturity have anything to do with smoking weed..? It has to do with being able to hold a responsible conversation about a hotly debated subject, which I feel we are more than capable of doing. By no means are we encouraging or provoking people into breaking their country's laws, we are merely discussing it for the sake of curiosity.

Just because a few of you don't feel it's nessicary to talk about it, doesn't mean we gotta be locked out of our opinions of it. If you don't wanna read about weed and illegal drugs.. don't read the odd 1 or 2 posts that comes up about it in here then..?

Whata shame, that thread got locked.

Azi said its a part of growing up! Depends who you are isnt it? I've never once touched "pot" or any drugs. Also I've never drank any booozeish shat. Though I have many friends that do, many friends that make it a ritual to go find sellers on weekends, some of those friends are younger too. And they always have the best stories. I think it depends who you hang around, what you spend your time doing. Weed doesnt have to be a bad thing, I know plenty of people that base their academics on it (and get really good grades). But theres always that line, that people just seem to miss. However, wtfever its whoevers life and no one learns by other peoples mistakes, only their own.

Hahaha that reminds me of my life. Sure, I've seen weed do some f***** up shit to people, but I've also seen, and know tons of people who are EXTREMELY sucessful, and have done nothing but smoke weed or grow weed, for the majority of their life.

I think you guys are all sucked into what the government thinks about weed. They hate it cause they can't tax it. The cotton companies hate it because hemp is far superior of a fibre, and the cotton companies are there due to, yes, our great government again.

There are plenty of positives to weed, and the cultivation/adminitstration of it, yet, there's still a majority who dislike it because they are told to.

Weed has more positives than negatives to me it's better than alcohol and any other drug. I mean i stopped cuz im back in school and well whenever I was in school and high My mind tend to drift away from the teacher to the breasts of the female sitting next to me.... :oops:

Anyway Weed highten senses, People drive better and can have the realest conversations while they are high. Don't they prescribe weed to people anyway ..... You can't tax something you can grow in your closet. That's the main reason why it's illegal in most nations. If People could make ciggarettes with their bare hands you think they will still be selling it at 6 bucks... here in Ny it's six bucks atleast

being taxed to work is the gayest notion I've ever seen also....corruption at it's finest. Weed is still the best drug I perform better high in every aspect of life except well school but thats me :)mix a lil x and weed and you can satisfy any girl for hours..

youre wrong about it helping you drive better. weed slows down your motor skills. and yea it is probably the "safest" drug even though theres no such thing as a safe drug. but what weed does worse is heart problems and its smoke is way worse than cigarette smoke. theres nothing great about smoking weed. theres been the end of alot of great people because of that shit, alot of times people start with drugs like weed and pick up on heavier stuff. if you want to think its that great and crap, ok then, have fun.
