Hmm.. you cant claim that god didnt present himself to the cavemen in some way. Neither can you claim that he did. Plus f*** it.. if u dont believe in god thats your problem. Sooner or later even the murderers ask for god to help them when they are about to die. And errr.. people who believe in god dont fear him, just respect him. Plus this looks like a serious discussion so i dont see the logic when some of you put a joke to send the topic in a different direction.
And infinity and eternity is easy to think of, never ending. I dont see whats complicated about that. walking around a circle until you find a dead end..

Just because the Bible only talked of the 3 sons doesn't mean that there weren't any more. The Bible doesn't claim to be an exaustive history of mankind. I personally don't take all of the old testement literally. I haven't read much of the old testement lately so i can't say where, exactly, the story ends and the history begins (in my mind).

There are some links to the text of those passages (New International Version because its my preference).

Perhaps one reason that the different tellings of the story are slightly different is the fact that different people wrote it. It's not like the dif. versions are contradicting each other. They just have slightly different details. Since these books were written about 20-30 years after the death of Jesus would you expect them to all remember it exactly the same way? Even in a court of law, the testimony eye witnesses are taken with a grain of salt due to many possible things affectings their perception of the events.

one comment short cause im not too l33t....the bible has exactly what god wants in it he is all powerful and no one could possibly change anything that he doesnt want changed. if or when it has been altered or mistranslated it was allowed for a reason only god knows. hes clever like that cause hes God.

also no disrespect intended here as well. but i wont be ashamed of him and i wont feel bad for trying to help someone who doesnt believe in him. id hope if i was lost someone would try to help me find him.
