60+ applicants that is funny like I didnt think there was 60 active posters on the forums.
I suppose alot of it was people gunning for a staffership.

I wouldn't say Bobo is going around telling everyone that he didn't recieve a pm. He left. He's been on alot trying to show that he can handle the dedication for being a staff member. Obviously he didn't get the position which I find more than sad. I for one would give him my vote - he's honest and has been on the shard for a long time and would be on regularly.

Still congrats to everyone who got picked for a moderator! I wish you guys the best of luck in all that you do

A big problem with counsies, is that so few get promoted they lose interest. That's pretty much what happened with me. I worked my ass off 9 months, never made it to seer so then I just stopped caring. I would still get on to answer pages, but that was still too "inactive" and I got booted.

He also has poor taste in avatar and sig pics.

For all the above reasons and general immaturity he would not make a forum moderator and for those who don't see that have blinders on.

Now I'd like to get back do work instead of defending myself to immature children, so that maybe this evening after I'm done with my RL job I can invest several hours working on Obsidian.

I told him that at school... it's not like I went around saying "DISS CYBERVIC AND THASSIUS." It's their decision, and while I'm sad I didn't get it, I respect them for their choices. I really don't wanna balloon this up out of proportion, so please just everyone knock it off. Seriously, I didn't say anything to him about posting on here about it, and I was kind of worried that he did for this very reason.

Whatever, this is exactly the reason I didn't want to make a big deal about me leaving, because shit like sympathy posts always blow up in peoples faces whenever they're not the most liked people. I stopped caring. I did what I wanted to do in this game. And for your info., I was banned for being inactive. Since it was the beginning of school and all. Again, stopped caring. Had fun in Obs. and I really wish this worked out better.

Regardless like I said I wasn't sure if I was confusing you with someone else in regards to the 50K gold piles being stolen from the star chamber. The point I was trying to make is that you MAY or MAY NOT be rehired as staff and if you were you would be rehired directly as a counselor not as a forum moderator because in my opinion you aren't the best person to fill that role as staff. The majority of your posts are kind of immature and a lot of your posts are aggitative not productive.

I don't get why we're even talking about this. It wasn't me who said anything in the beginning and all of a sudden I'm getting pegged for a whole bunch of shit. It's not like I asked him to come on and post that, especially in a disrespective manner. I didn't ask for anything outside of becoming staff again, and now you're publically berating me and I didn't even do anything. I'm being publically disrespected by staff and I'm still not doing anything wrong. What I want to do is go on a big rant about how big of an asshole some people are being, but I'm not. I'm trying to keep my cool. It's not like this is a big deal, but the fact you, CyberVic, make a big 2 long page post about how horrible of a person I am is kind of shocking and going against the whole flaming thing that we're not supposed to do, because I feel like you're making a personal attack at me over what someone who has been banned before said.

Like I said in my last post we still may or may not re-hire you that has not been decided but if we do it would be directly as counselor not as a forum moderator.

Back to happy happy joy joy feelings about hiring a whole bunch new staff. These are all fine people and I'm really happy to have them on as staff. With 60+ applicants you have the chance to choose the best of the best for specific forums. For example we chose a player who is really active in the crafting community to moderate buying and selling. And we chose really good bug testers people with RL experience doing testing for the Bugs and Suggestions forum.

I'm glad that Cybervic apologised , Bobo didnt deserve that , there was no reason for him to be publically berated that way and avatars , signatures aren't a good way to judge a person , I fear .

Moreover I think there are pms to discuss such issues and the reasons for staff dismissal arent supposed to be made public , even if there was a misunderstanding .

I'd like to give my best wishes and congratulations to all the new hired staff and I trust some of them will make a really good job .
