I've had the following ideas...

1) The cap should be made higher (Perhaps 300, 350 or even 400)
2) The cap should be removed completely (Prolly not a good idea)
3) Have a feature which just stops stats raising once they've reached a certain point
4) Make stats much more harder to gain as your experience grows
5) Have the ability to choose what stat gets lowered whilst in jail
6) Lose a random stat each time you are killed
7) Make stat loss pots more available through out the world (in more monsters loot)
8) When the stat-check occurs, push the players stats back down to 200 (not 100)
