Would you prefer to just ask your own questions or to have a set topic each week?

A set topic would prevent at least a BIT of the spam you HAVE to know 'll happen...

I've been gm's around a few games before n organizing works slightly better then not.. lol (of course ppl are idiots no matter where you go so nothing ever works all to well  ).

perhaps a compromise between the two: you could make a poll that gives a few choices for upcoming topics, and then see which get the most votes.

Here's the way that works nice for chats with developers on IRC.

1 person is appointed as the discussion moderator.

The speakers are allowed to talk whenever they want, in this case it'd be the staff of obsidian, however, if the others had a question about somethign the developers say or a concern, they have to ask for the floor in the format

RTF - short description

Then the moderator will acknolwedge them and they can ask, and when over they YTF so others may talk.

It keeps things nice and orderly.

Example:

<Broadband> In the upcomming patch, in addition the Jorus' new necromancy system, there will be the addition of the new housing system, the wind orb system will be fixed, and there will be free drinks for everyone once per day by clicking ona stone, in addition to the normal monster updates and bug fixes
<Imanewbie> RTF - Bugs
<Mod> Imanewbie has the floor
<Imanewbie> When you say bug fixes, which ones in particular? Will the stat loss bug finally be fixed? YTF

id like to pose my own questions, but we could have it so the asker PM's the moderator with a new question, and waits for that one to be brought up by the mod

Doesn't look like many people want a bi-weekly dev q/a.

i think that if this is scrapped the communitry would be losing out, as each player has concens that trouble them, i know i do,a nd would like to see some of them sorted,a nd i think this is agreat medium as in which to do so.
