I love my llama (named Muffin). I really do. I am afraid of getting PK'd and losing my Muffin! I don't want this to happen. She is real important to me. There needs to be a way to protect animals like this from getting killed by a PK. Please make something for this!

Now about the murder system, what about slow decay with a lowering in stats for a period of time and slowly rising back up over a certain period of time?

It really dont matter to me.
But I would like to see the no kill count applied to chaos killing an order.
And also I think kills under 10 should go away too.
I have been at 3 for ever! The first 2 was in Cove. And it have been a long time since I have been able to go in Cove!

I just think that with whatever is implied us who are screwed over with no warning should be set back to normal karma, because i've gained all my kills from chaos v order and i don't think it's fair to turn perma red over that shit.

I think that definately the Order v Chaos kill count needs to go and secondly perhaps a system combining karma and a kill decay could work.

For instance, the more karma a player has, the quicker their kills will decay. You could also make it more difficult for 10 kill or more players to gain karma and make them have massive (or total) karma losses for killing a blue player so that they wont go doing it again if they are really determined to turn blue.

I don't have too terrible of a problem with PvP, cause thats like.. yeah, part of the game.

its ganking/PKing and LOOTING. LOOTING is the worst thing. If you could... somehow, make corpses unlootable, unless the corpse is of a grey/red? or if you give permission for someone too loot.

IDEA: implement the party system, and anyone outside your party can not loot your corpse! .. i dunno, just tossing out my two cents, even though its only worth a penny

I think the Karma based system is nice though. this whole kill count thing makes me nervous, cause when my character gets older, i don't really wanna be perma red.

[EDIT] OH! but i think players should loose MASSIVE amounts of karma for killing innocents. and also even more for looting (unless the whole party thing comes into effect )

Yeah...I'm already at 4 kill counts, from attacking mages who started casting on me (unlike them, I go into war mode first).

Oh, and one from killing somebody whilst wrestling, by mistake.

I've not set out to pk anybody, but I'm still nearly halfway to being red.

I must say that on obsidian i hate pk's and players that are just not nice and feel that a little honour is good. helping noobs and people that are in trouble. Killing criminals when they mouth u off. Honestly i dont think half the reds would have done what they have done if they new about this system. You cant punish ignorance. Its awsome that the shard has a thread and a vote to see what happens and even if it takes me a month to get my char to blue ill be happy. this shard is awsome and i honeslty cant say i have any realy problems with it(exept lag sometimes).

I think Faust is onto something. Having high karma incease kill count decay would be great since that way karma is not completly useless. Also, please reset everyone to 0 kills soon. Kill counts 10 and under don't decay and that's why everyone is red.

yup, because i have 10 kills on the dot and there is no way to make it go away unless someone sets it lower or sets the kill lvl up to 11.

I agree with basher, you shouldn't have to be part of PvP if you don't want to, and I think only the corpses of greys/reds should be able to be looted by anyone, to make it more challenging then casting FS on someone twice and just paying 1000 gold to get out of jail.

Yes but then you'll have fearless blue people who will just piss off reds because they know the red probably won't kill because there's nothing to gain..

floandlin, you can buy animal protection potions for 500 gp, use them on your animal to turn it blue (however it'll still look grey to you). killing your animal will then ersult in a kill count
