It's because no one has reason anymore for killing animals since clearing spawns won't do you any good. You could clear an entire spawn for hours and a stang could spawn on the other side of the map. If nothing is killed nothing spawns. The chances of seeing a stang now adays is next to nil.

It seems bob wants us (from other threads) to travel the world more.
the old way was to clear area and one might spawn in that area.
new way is that when one spawns i think if noone finds them in a certain time they respawn other area...is that right bob?
if the is right, i would rather have them stay in the one spot till someone finds it...that way if i cover half the world, i can cover the other half the next day and i should be able to get one
And i have found a few lately but it was like 2 months before i found them

welll if no one is finding them to the point where there not worth there wait in golld maybe the spawn rate needs to be increased a tad bit ? I'm not a tamer (that's high enough to tame stangs) .. and this is just a suggestion, b/c i never see stangs my self... just lots of llamas and horses

I undertstand the whole thing about travelling the globe to find them, but if nooone is killing ir taming animals no new ones will spawn. Perhaps if we see a player base of 30 or so at any given time you might see more. Perhaps the spawn rate for stangs could be raised a little but it is only based on the total number of animals spawned. If no animals are spawning because none are released then you wont see any stangs either way.
