Just take it away from npcs... When I hunt with spawn, I gotta take around 25 gmana pots to keep my mana up, and when im dispelled im usually super low on mana so I have to sit there and wait for my mana to go up untill i can poly again, hopefully not dying in the mean time. so take it off npc's

I agree take it off. I don't think that we need any kind of balance for that at all. Pvm mages, while they are pretty good when it comes to hunting they are sitting ducks when it comes to pkers so it sort of balances itself out.

So on top of the boss kicking your arse already, you want him to be able to dispel you?
Perhaps a better option would be to make small monsters dispel you so you can't pick on the little guys so easy....aka farming.
When it comes to bosses...you ARE the little guy.
I am just saying I don't want to not be able to dispel a pvm mage if I decided to pk one while hunting. I want to see the spell removed from npcs like you guys.

Just curious. Have you considered a majority of npcs having a lower chance at succeeding at dispell while the tougher ones have a higher chance? If so what would your thoughts be on that.
Edit: Sorry chips missed your post that is the basic idea of what I was getting at.

Actually the tougher ones are where you need them not to dispel you the most. if you are all of a sudden a naked 120-150 str human and taking hits of about - 80 it doesnt take much to be going OOooOOOooOOOoooOOO.

But how would you feel about the success chance from dispell being lowered on npcs?

I think you got something here...
...reduce success chances to 0%
lol
The best solution imho is removing the spell from the veteran dungeons. They are veteran enough as they are. Especially with the overpowered succubus that roam the halls of Hythloth.
