So I've been hunting a lot of spiders lately and I've noticed my Poisoning skill has gone up about .3. I didn't know if this was a implemented with the change in Resist and Healing. I did read the Changelog and found no mention of it (from the ones I read). Anyone else experience this?

So you are saying you got poisoning gains from being poisoned by spiders?

Ya, were you gaining the poisoning after they poisoned you?

Also, didn't you use to be able to gain through the spell? If so, are you using the poison spell?

I've been hunting a lot of spiders and poison eles and I've gained Poisoning skill by at least .2-.3 points. Nothing spectacular. I just thought I would bring it to Bob's attention to see if it was "intentional."

there asking how did u get the gains tho? just by being poisoned? Or did u throw any pots or cast any spells?

I also know hallucination pots u need like 80 poisoning to throw. So maybe theres other pots that you throw that train poison

From what it sounds like (next time specify exactly what you're doing) he was being poisoned by the spiders and other poisoning NPC's and managed to gain poisoning as you would gain resist from spells.

Never had that happen to me, in which case, Bob would need to elaborate on whether or not this is intentional.

Yeah, I have been poisoned. I have not thrown any pots or cast any spells.

hmm sounds like a cool way to train poisoning without spending any money on it. j/k
