Hmm, so the healing delay improvement for crosshealing vs normal healing was removed?

I do agree that the best loot in any MMO should not be soloable just as in other games. However it is important that we make group play more than the sum of its parts to ensure that the rewards are worth the effort.

I'll chat to Bob about this. I personally feel we need to focus on the group mechanic rather than giving players the means to solo monsters that drop +5/+7 weapons all day.

Maybe if we're going to make soloing these monsters harder, we should improve the loot drops and improve the benefits of actions such as crosshealing.

The golden question is - if the better loot monsters remained tougher, but crosshealing and loot drops were improved to increase the rewards of group play - would you group more?

The best example of this would be instanced dungeon runs in modern MMOs - players work and group together because the loot drops and rewards are better than simple solo grinding.

I certainly don't play MMOs to play solo. Dragon Age 2 has better graphics and lewts.

I agree... this is what killed it for me ...tough npcs not worth killing...its boring and long. I rather have dungeons be group based with loot enough to please the whole group. People would be encouraged to hunt in groups and pkers will be discouraged to pk solo. I want generous loot to keep me coming back. Also add different things in loot like a diamond necklace worth 3k etc...

you just need some different dungeon spawns i think. alot of time its not the toughness of the monster, but what is around it. such as- daemon summoner isnt that hard if you can dispell the daemons, but if there are 2 blackgates and a balron and 3 succubus around...then your screwed.

but you go to kill skekey king or dracholiche, and all that is around is a few weak monsters, another good one is skeletal arch magus, he has alot of things around him to protect him, makes it super tough to get too, not impossible ..but hard. bloody mary is impossible solo...ive tried a ton.

SSome of the dungeons are just tooo weak after first lvl, and final lvls of all dungeons should be harder. like deceit lvl 4 is pretty tough, but you still get liches, skeletal warriors, knights, mages, fire elementals earth elementals and other weak stuff, no reason for those being down there, makes it too easy.

different spawns is cool...new npcs to fight also plus new loot to go after and more loot to get moniesssssss

Especially since now they seem to swarm alot more than they did before. You walk in a dungeon and monsters come ffrom about 12 tiles over to attack you usually ending up in getting surrounded and dead.
