So what about the people who went thru the same exact thing you did? Probley even more since you were absent from the game for a while on a break or w,e u were doing. AND donated to the server? So someone who did more and beyond the others doesnt get recompense. Anyways idc if people can access donater. however im pretty sure bob already said BB will not allow him to remove the donaters area. But like bob said make a thread for this

Everyone has lost something, some more than other some lost everything and had to start all over again. The point is there is no recompense for those people why should it be so important for there to be recompense for people just because they thru in like $5 on paypal.

Because in most cases of unavoidable loss, it affects everyone pretty much almost equally in that everyone is subject to the same loss conditions.
You might disagree with this definition of equal, but it stands.

I try to avoid losses at all costs, and when i can't i try to balance them as best i can. Any loss that is not an equal one across the playerbase i try to recompense or not do.

Ya, Everyone is affected the same so it balances it out.

As for payments its not $5. The minimum i think was $20 back when u could donate to be able to get that access.

But ya to have it fair i think the donation system should be back in place with the same amounts. If it was up to me id re-implement it and use the money to upgrade server stuff or maybe even pay for some shard advertising.

blah 20 bucks ...I will want to see new areas, new npcs (hostile monsters and tameable nightmares etc), boats, new skills, generous loot for solo and group hunters...and a ethereal ride. Ethereal ride can be only for those that donated but the rest is for the betterment of the shard.

Thanks

But not everyone is effected equally anyway because 3/4 of the people who play here do not have access to where 1 or 2 players do. IT is the same with walls. Noone else can purchase them now but those who have them already can. If anyone deserves recompense it is those who donated money back in the day and was never given status and those of us who never had the opportunity to access it.

LOL i just like to troll and play devils advocate. I dont agree with anyone unless it affects me in a positive way!
This would affect me in a negative way haha so i dont like it! (Yes i am greedy like that)

Also i think bob said there was like 7-8 active players that had access to donater portal. not 1 or 2.
Also no real way to prove you donated back in the past unless you got screenshot lol. But i wish BB would accept donations again to improve the server but i dont think he does anymore last time i talked to him.
