So im not the only mage who has tested this and admitted that there is a problem with the Energy bolt magery spell. Being grandmaster mages normally energy bolt is a necessity in pvp because it does big damage (28-45) with only using a small amount of mana. The spell seems to only hit like 1 time out of 4-6 and only does around 11-18 damage. Sometimes ( very rare ) does a good hit of 28-45 dmg. I and many other mages believe this spell might be bugged now because this isnt normal at all.

Depends, Corp Por is strong against low armor. doing 45 damage on regular basis is what is NOT normal, as that is the damage ratio for flame strike.

As crimson said corp pot takes into account the armor of the victim.

Even soo, Corp Por has been tested on people without any armor on and its still messed up. please check for yourself and hopefully get it fixed!

i think i understand what your trying to do with the spell, but i try on alot o monsters too that may or may not have armor and only drakes take good high damage from that spell all the time , the rest take low end most of time.. i think its at least a little off , maybe some fine tuning?

It works as it always has in the past.

Energy bolt is affected by armor to a huge degree, so it is a very powerful spell against unarmored opponents, one of the best. But against armored it is outpaced by other spells.

I understand what your saying, but it has always almost hit in the 30s everytime, from a agapte set being high 30s to a rose set being low 30s, sometimes going into the 20s, now with an agapte set, i have a hard time going over 14 dmg.. makes no sense at all. theres definetly something with it.

Its back to where it always was before it shortly started ignoring armor and doing huge amounts of damage.

Yeah, in T3A its was just like it is now, most of T4A its been pretty overpowered.
