I know who you are, and i just finished the lists of exactly what you took.

I've had several players report missing items since the housing patch, and so i've run a check between the old worldfile before the patch and this one. ( I knew who two of you were, the third i didn't find till the script ran, he only took a few things from some people who haven't logged in since the patch)

You have exactly 72 hours to put back everything you stole and apologize to the players you stole from, either in person or on the forums. If not, you WILL be banned.
If you do these things you will be given a lighter sentence once you talk with me. Page when you've fulfilled your obligations.
If I don't get a page, the ban will commence at the 72 hour deadline.

I do not tolerate bug abuse, especially when it's blatantly obvious you should know better.
You're lucky i'm giving you a chance, last people who f***** with houses like this were, well, you can ask them.

Update: Ok since i'm getting quite a few pms over "Is this me" or "can i report", i'll go into a bit more detail.

The bug is simple.
When the housing patch happened, around january 08th, all locked and secured chests became unlocked.
If you stole anything from a house between then and now that was in a chest/container that probably should have been secure, put it back. Odds are if it had anything of value in it, it was supposed to be secured.

If you own a house, go make sure everything is properly secured.

To those who want to report missing items but haven't, you have 48 hours. So please inventory your stuff fast. Sorry to put a time limit on it but i'd really like to stop looking in old world files.

Also the count is now up from 3 to 4(finished checking the stuff reported last night)

For those wondering, the only reason i didn't do a rollback originally was because the damage was less than 10% of the world, and people didn't start reporting till the end of the week. I try to avoid rollbacks whenever possible

Ya know it's stuff like this that really bugs me the most. It's not like we have a lot of players, 90% of which have been here for multiple years. You all know the rules, and you know exactly who you're hurting when you break the rules, since it's not like the other players are a nameless sea of faces.

More importantly, it bugs me that i have to waste time on stuff like this rather than programming stuff. Did you know it takes me at minimum 2-3 hours anytime i have to verify and track stuff in an old worldfile? And that's if i know exactly what i'm looking for!

I coulda had more crafting stuff done today or something.

Also to those who reported missing things, sorry it took so long to get to it. I just didn't have a huge chunk of time available till today.

I hope you dont think im one of those 3. I new the bug but i did not abuse it not even once.

Hey while traveling around I saw an unsecured outside box to the angels guild house. I really thought since it's Duo's crafting guild..and it's only logs I figured it was for the noobs like myself to loot....but if someone needs them back I'd like Gm bob to verify it so I know it was part of this bug. If it was not then yall can't have them back lol
