simple keep the 6 month thing but after a person has reached the extra 90 every 6 months they get a stat bonus of 5 stat points. with a max of lets say 20?

Yeah, no.
There's a cap for a reason.
1st. it goes to 100
2nd. 90% of the accounts that have been used in the past year that are even above 80 skill are run by frauds and not the original owners.

So yeah.
Account "transfers" and "gifting" is something i can't retroactively fix, but i can damn well not reward people who didn't work for it.
Veteran rewards are just that, rewards, for veterans, who stuck with the shard.
Not for quitters and definitly not for newbies who decided to pick up someone else's account to think they're cool.

Sorry but the entitlement problems we have are mostly due to those fraud accounts and the players who currently run them. The few players who are legitimately that old are the ones who have to consistently beat them down and point out they're asking for the game on a silver platter instead of the difficult and rewarding task it's always been.

i agree fully with bob on this ..but you could give them a trophy...like a cane or something!

im pretty old and i only have like 60 skill points..
so someone would have had to be around for a lot longer than me to have 100 extra skill points.
I think the current rewards for age is fine as it is..

i also agree on what bob was saying about most old accounts that are around are not the original owners.. but oh well..

ok then what about giving legit players a dye tub of their choice? cause back in 2000 i bought a black tub from a vendor for 20k and then it got taken away im not trying to sound entitled or anything but itd be cool.... that just me though....

100 skill points = 10 YEARS game play ( or active account at least) I think that after dedicating 10 years to a game it would be nice to get a nice shiny something not a ride maybe an extra char slot, or like blob was saying special dyetub or walls or something else that players are always gripping for. Would boost vets feelings for the game and give newer players something to work towards even if players are not active that entire time most come back eventually which makes the game better for everyone because it boosts the player base...

it would be kinda a pain to go threw and look at and judge who is legit and who is not.. i mean im not saying it could not be done.. but i think the fact that if u played for 10 years and you account 100 extra skill points for all ur chars.. that is a pretty nice reward itself....

im not against anything extra from staff if they wanted to give someone something for being 10 years old on here but.. im not asking for it either really
i think the skill points are pretty nice to have as is
