anti wall-
a pot that makes it so you cant put up a wall within a certain amount of space....
and would only effect walls put up AFTER you drop the pot in a 3 x 3 square area... or even a 2 x 2
( emphasis on the SMALL area... would have to be placed correctly/ with tactic to be of any use...)
these pots shouldnt effect walls already in place... 3 x 3, is also enough for the waller
to just simply move away or directly on it and be able to still get a complete wall up
would add lots of tactic to walls and would add tactic to wall defense, instead of just running and hoping they lag enough for the walls to miss LMAO :)


wall reinforcement pots-
would make walls in a 6x6 box (around where the pot is dropped) last longer, by maybe a min?
but only applies to walls dropped AFTER the pot was dropped..

i like the idea of having something to temp disable walls

but im afraid from it would not turn out that way..

would jsut be more emphasis on walls in general.. making pvp all about them..
would be worth a shot i suppose but i do believe everyone would benefit greatly from a more wall-less pvp environment.

well walls are needed for everyone except a necro atm to kill,
so removing them even though i would love it, I dun think would work,
but i do agree something has to be done to add some sort of dept to the situation lol

dunno i remember so many times in the past walls were not needed.. not that i didnt have them on me.. i caried every advantage possible..

no one carried heal weps and gate weps around with them untill me.. that i know of.. lol i kinda started that i suppose.. heh.. had to be ready for anything i guess :)

but yea i remember most times outside vesper.. the only wall ud see was the wall of stone spell.. lol
blocking the bridge off when some fool was brave enuff to cross it.. but yea.. now all i see is ppl putting themselves in a prison with others..
and thats the full extent of pvp..

what boggles me is prior to all the changes
u could use limitless animals wihout animal lore.. and walls were availabe also....
what has changed now to make pvp evolve so much
around walls has me bothered... i cant place it...

I can give you a clear and definite answer...

the change happened when classes were switched so you cant use archery (effectively) on a warrior.
and a mage can't pvp effectively outside the e wall range, because that means a warrior will be forced to run and chase and try stone wall a mage (because no archery) and when they get them there in and if they miss, the mage is still shit outta luck because they cant cast through stone walls,
So really its a stalemate with no damage being done until someone gets trapped in a e wall...

this is also why ice elves powers seem to give them such an advantage, instant confinement with a macro and the ability to freeze your opponent for a second or 2 making the instant confinement macro even easier to use... lol,

the only way around getting trapped by any ice elf with a horse and some what good timing is with a necro with better timing... or staying 1-2 seconds away running time from a warrior,, which is ridiculously hard to do and kill them.... lmao (I am not explaining why staying 1-2 seconds a way might save ur ass as a mage,, because in the end you'll end up in a wall anyway so it wont matter)

thats why i think the items for not really escaping walls, but eluding walls is a good thing to have.

maybe with wall reinforcements it will take 2 dispel fields or 2 mass dispel fields to get rid of them instead of 1... would REALLY throw some kinks into things :) *the good kind* lmao
and it would even out the + anyone gets from anti walls.. would add tactics on both sides...

summary wrote:
1) The excess use of wall potions came to be because of archery restrictions of a warrior
2) Everyone reverts to using walls even mages because it's impossible to finish a fight outside a wall as a mage unless your opponent has ran out of walls them selves
3) Ice elves abilities are perceived as over powered (or at least more useful then everyone elses powers) due to 1 and 2..
4) a way to elude/ prevent walling is necessary... also due to 1 and 2
5) wall reinforcements was an idea to counter act the new ability of players to elude walls, or at least attempt to elude walls

Intentions of the 2 new items-
to add variety, skill, and tactic to a currently 2 dimensional trap game and none existent escape game

i get where ur going chips.. but u are just creating a larger trap game..

i don't think its all warriros not able to use bows is the main prolbem.. cause even the human warriors that have dropped parrying are doing the exact same thing...

i think the problem is more core related than that...
if u removed walls all togather warriors would be fuked without use of bow
maybe not with the 2 tile weps but i dunno
you cant really outrundown mage and kill him

or u used to not be able to ne ways

im not sure what the answer is... i dont like the idea of more wall stuff being added tho tbh
i mean its a good thought but i think it will make pvp Completely evolve around walls
and ppl spamming these reinforcements or stoppers

well warriors with bows also have a range so..
the range can hit someone on the run, and is close enough to a mages range so they do damage

but ya, they would be used alot, but would improve the wall game atm.. instead of being flat and spammed anyway.. atleast there will be some tactic
