on the magic armor i have it all on and when i cast it says it only works with bone armor that isnt helm but i lose mana will i still get skill gains?

nop, you just loose mana so you can med and gain med. But as far as gaining necro i didnt get any gains and i did that for like an hour

yes u can u doofus..
there are many spells that require only 20 -25 necromancy
if u buy ur skill up in wind.. u can cast Reconstruct which will pretty much let u get you all the way to 65...
from 65-70 is the hard part... but once u hit 70 u can cast total protect which the process starts all over again and u can ues that to train with

my tip on training necro quickly-

use the highest possible spell, that doesnt require as little mana as possible
u might sacrifice a higher spell for a spell thats a bit lower but u can cast 2x more

not all necro spells are created equal in terms of gains i feel.. i think some gain better than others regardless of their skill requirements..

however here are some good spells to train

reconstruct
drain stamina (lowest casting cost/highest skill spell)
hallucination
total protection..

i think i did something in that order..
reconstruct for the most part..


getting from 65-70 is the pain in the ass i have found

Indeed, I used reco till 65% and now I seem stuck with reco to go on....

Hallu takes massive amounts of mana, and seems to work rarely...

So I am trying to go from 65 to 70 still with reco but yet no gains...it has been 1 day now that I'm in constant training and the only thing I seem to gain is meditation...
