silver armor gives a fizzle rate of 15 percent ...this is platemail. It was my understanding that it was supposed to be same as mythril, but high end like black and blood for warriors. is this correct or is it a bug?

As far as I'm aware the magical benefit to Silver armour is that it is self-repairing, not that it is designed for spellcasting? Someone please correct me if I am wrong lol.

i think falin is right and it is ''super mytral'' but yeah when t4a started myth armor had a fizz rate too, and then it got removed .. maybe bob just didnt tought of removing it for silver too..
i think silver should have no fizz rate as its designed for mage use..

Silver and Mytheril are magically enhanced ores, allowing armor from them to be extra flexible, and therefore only cause 1/3rd of the casting fail rate of their armor type. So mytheril plate will only cause a 10% casting fail rate.
I would like to add about all of this info is incorrect. Bloodrock does not as of yet self-repair. As well as myth having a 0% fizzle rate and i don't know about silver.

Would be cool if silver armor had some sort of minor reactive armor effect against undead at random.

That, incidentally, is a great idea.

Mytheril gives 0.
Silver gives 1/3rd the normal fail rate, so for platemail it should be 10% if normal platemail is 30%.

alright ty bob. i disagree since it is so hard to mine and get, and having a big draw back like that. I think it should be more like the black rock of magic armor. A mage cant afford too many fizzles just for the extra 15 - 20 armor
