Has anyone managed to train magic up to a reasonable level under this new system? I'm asking because there must be something I'm missing. I have 73 magic and over the last few days I have casted somewhere in the range of 100+ spells between 4th and 7th circle while fighting various critters all over the place, and I have not received a single gain. I must be missing something, but I can't figure out what it is. Using the .skillcheck command shows me nothing (which is good) so I'm at a loss.

A lot of people seem to be training with reveal. Seems to gain magic at a reasonable rate Azimuth.

lol i wouldnt say a "reasonable" rate. Im using reveal on pinky and its SLOW im also at about 73 skill and im lucky if i get 0.1 gains when training for 30-45mins.

Well at 73.0 magery you can use Mana Vampire. Have you tried using that various times to see if gains
start to progress a little faster?

Just a suggestion.

I totally agree, when you get to the 70s in magery it just seems impossible to get decent gains,my mage is at 76% and boy is it a pain to train
