I don't believe that price of the fff is the issue here. It is the time spent looking for all these obscure fff to get rid of skills you never wanted in the first place it is a bit rediculous if you ask me, and i can't see any reason to have it start like that tbh.

Simply lower it. I mean we do not have to get rid of them completely, but lower them enough where the
player can buy the FFF reasonably. Just wait until the economy shoots up and FFF go back to what they
once were. Players with 15+ in each skill area will soon leave due to the fact of how much FFF they need
to purchase and at the price it will be sold at.

I buy them because I have no other choce. But again, think about the new players that will come and see
such a high skill cap already placed on them, all the skill points they need to drop, and the price of the
FFF in the near future (or the price goes back to the t3a version).

Not trying to be mean. But you do realize that this may be the only shard that doesnt allow you to GM
all skills. So this makes this shard a little more difficult becuase players must chose what skills they need,
want, and what will work for that specific character (mage, warrior, tank).
So if they leave they go and find a shard that allows all skills to be GM'd. So why not put them to where
they once stood in the t3a version?

I never really had a problem with the way the stats are laid out, you start out with skills go train a main skill get some money spend some of it on fff most fff go for less then 1k gp there are only a couple that are really high and you will only have what 20 in those skills if you don't want them? idk just seems logical to me. you do the same thing with armor....you start out with nothing and work towards something just in this case its the opposite.

ya what dedo said
and to
euro, your fairly new to the shard, and of course you need FFF,
and theres plenty of shards that dont let u GM everything
none of the shards have this hard of gains tho
if anything drives people away, it wouldnt be the FFF tho.
if you can find a post saying, OOO ima quit because FFF cost me a whole hour to hunt the money i need for half of them, then shiiit u got me in this, but seeing as it probably will never exist, just stop complaining, jeeze cheepos

Whatever....keep the skills where they are. We will see what happens in the future of the t4a system.

Actually the last time i made a new char it was anywhere from 3-10 skill points for each skill. That does add up. Personally i could give a flying f***, because i already have a gm fisher and all my skills are done. But i always thought that was a bit annoying.

See this is the biggest problem with most of you vets. You never take consideration for how new players
may feel, you just think of yourselfs.
Of course you dont give a shit because your GM with everything you want and what you dont need is
already lowered. Maybe if you try to think in a new players position you will see things differently.
All the vets seem to focus on one thing. Rares and how they can benefit themselves. Yet, they forget
about the only way to get a higher playerbase is for new players. Which you wont get if they see that
people screw new players over early in the game, but go on to make older players more beneficial...
