I was thinking that since major holidays are about to occur in the real world that we should
all come up with some good ideas to decorate Obsidian according to the holiday

Halloween: Would be nice to have some funny decorations for this. Maybe place all the vendors
as different monsters within Obsidian. That or maybe create a Haunted House within Obsidian and
place monsters that people could hunt for the month or week of Halloween. Maybe even have
some prizes or gifts given to the players after an event/game.

Thanksgiving: Make the whole world filled with tons of Turkeys and have a prize placed inside of them
and have us go and kill them and receive the different gifts. The more Turkeys a player kills, the more
prizes he/she will earn!

Christmas: All I want for this holiday is a large Christmas Tree in the Middle of Vesper Bank

Any other suggestions? Also I was rather bored at this moment, and this idea popped into my head while
I looked at the calender to check what day the 10 of October would be

Lets see:

Halloween: happens every year, normally they give out costumes and have fun events/contests.

Thanksgiving: You can still see turkeys around from last thanksgiving because they never turned off the "Temporary" spawns. It's like pegasus, supposed to be winter only mounts that never got shut off. (lotta people were mad when they were still tamable in april that year, since they paid a ton for them).

Christmas: Christmas tree is normally in yew or haven, plus a smaller one in vesper. Plus Santa always comes to town.

Although i would definitly like to see some new stuff. Maybe halloween monsters?

If you want a haunted house, go to Haunted Hill (or whatever it is) - It's Halloween all year there. Considering two of these holidays are based on ancient pagan festivals centered around the solstices, why not have festivals?

What I mean are maybe a couple of days of special events, and perhaps the ability for players to have their vendors inside of Vesper to sell their special wares.

Well it does seem like the Turkey idea has some people thinking. Would be nice to get people
killing them for special prizes that the Turkeys may give.

Furthermore, may also help with taming if a butt-load of people are killing these things, which
will open more rides for sale for the tamers

Halloween would be nice to see with a whole variety of different monsters. Maybe throw in a
scary clown (we all know how scared we all are of clowns)

I got an idea...how about to make guys like Aaron feel better we have staff declare the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving as deer season...they can go out in the woods and wait for harts and hinds to walk by for hours then put trophies on their walls.

I thought this was kinda common knowledge, but turkeys do drop unique things that make them worth killing....
There's not much you can do with them now other than cool deco, but IMO i've never let a turkey live if i can see it.

If you haven't, cut the corpse.

Yea, funny coloured feathers i haven't quite fiigured out anything to do with them tho, not even sure if you can make arrows.

Well ya I knew they gave out colorful feathers because I killed quit a few hoping to use their
feathers for arrows and to train my bow crafting....

Maybe actually add a special prize to them that could be rare and useful, not colorful feathers
