I am just wondering what the style of PvP is on this shard. I am not talking about the ways
in which to PK (tactics of other such means), but what the best type of PKer is on the shard.
By this I mean; which is better, the PvP Warrior or the PvP Mage?

Please give me info and reasons as to why the other is better. I'm not accustomed to this shard
and its rules about Warriors and Mages, so I decided to post this and ask older members of the
shard.

Please do not post saying that a warrior or mage is better just because you like them, thanks!

well...
pking i still would go with a mage
even tho they cant kill as much now. ( i gotta test since fizzling has been slashed)
but they have several advantages to pking that warriors dont have
1) fast transportation. you know someones hunting u want to get to entry level of dungeons quickly warriors cant do this
2) walling, you can wall off entrances. and pvm mages rarely have an grav ready to up and use. and you can mana drain also
3) poison from afar.... not much to explain there..
4) damage while moving. someimtes its hard to chase ppl and get them in e wall.. this is only way ur killing someone on a warrior if there running away.. but if your anything near intelligent, you wouldn't chase someone on a warrior, theres far better strategys... enough on that tho

but warriors have some distinct advantages when to pking also..
if you are able to trap
1) higher damage. good to PK if u have higher damage, if a pvm happens to dispell within the time... wow.. hes basically done.. 0 hope
2) consistancy. warriors dont stop handing out consistant damage...
they dont have stanima they need to manage per swing.. like a mage does mana... so its just point and go
3) fizzlage, they can fizzle mages with lots of tactics and with there healing its very hard to stand toe to toe,
4) good AR, if a mage gets in with a PVM and is for some reason not able to dispell.. there going to get raped by a PVM simple as. while a warrior cant exactly dispell them, if there in a e wall, shiiit throw a sheild on the warrior and a prot fish and ur str8

but all in all, who ever has the best cheap new tactic generally wins, or more of the cheap new tactic wins lol now its bears...

Also I forgot to add the combination of both, a tank
Suggestions on this type of PvP character also would enlighten me. If I seem to find that
both a mage and a warrior have the same pros and cons, then I might turn to a tank, but I
also need to know how tanks work on this shard also!

umm a list of pros and cons im to lazy to list the reasons but ill list the pros and cans off the top of my head...

warriors
pros
good damage
ease of use
takes little damage
fizzles the ba joozals out of mages
fast healing via bandies
and easy bandie ressing

cons
no transportation
cant dispell walls
cant dispell characters
cant summon things. the bears you have on you are the only bears ur using
have to get good weps..
if you die thats lots of loot gone cuz of weps

mages
pros
good transportation
can mana mana with pots AND med
mana leach seems to actually work w/ them meaning mana leach/ vampire is probably based off med skill
can dispell walls
RA/PRot
can summon bears and use shrunk bears
less damage but more control over how much damage you do
only have to carry regs pots and some myth armor outta town, and your rolling with the best of them

cons,
hard to train
less damage overall then warriors
easy to die, if you dont watch health
lots of things to keep track of.
slow bandie heal rate..
u cant continuously do damage due to lots of management..
guess that goes under lots of things to keep track of

pros
damage is great not as good as a warriors...and u can control it as mages
(both damage and control aren't as good as there mage and warrior conter parts.. but u do have both)
good transportation
can summon bears / other animals at will
ra/prot
buffs.. i put this under tanks and not both tanks and mages because mages stats dont compare to warriors. but tanks compare to mages and warriors
most versitile class. u can do alot with what skills u use... and what skills u use and the stats WILL decide how you play
can use warrior sheilds with myth armor lol
theres more but im to lazy to post i have head ache

cons.
basically all the cons of the mage
+ worst mana management. cuz no med
+ worst heal delay.. magery + sheild + wep.. HORRIBLE heal delay
+ u cant use mana vamp effectivly
but are the only ones that use mana leach weps to there full effeiniecy
and when u run outta mana as a tank ur done.. unless they use mana vamp theres ways to avoid pretty instantaneous death if they do that lol...
last but not least, its pretty good defense in all but stop watching your health or mana for a sec,, and DAMN its hard surviving lol u might just be dead u like to stay around half..
