I'd like to know that as well Chips. He doesn't have a logical answer, if he did he would state it instead of reverting (?) to the level of a 3 year old and calling us names.

Where did i say that switching randomly gives you more control? I said having health bars out and clicking on the ones you want to attack gives you more control. Switching randomly is just what happens when you are attacked, whatever hits you you attack back. Anyway i am done with this now until we get some kind of confirmation from bob.

If you had actually bothered to read the thread belg you would have seen that the whole reason this topic exists is because you randomly switch targets when fighting more than one monster. It has been suggested by quite a few players how the targeting system should be changed.

Once you establish focus on a target you shouldn't switch off the target without some type of input from the player. That's the way it works in every MMO I've ever played, and on every other game I've ever played.

Pulling out health gumps and being forced to spam click on the monster you want dead does NOT give you more control than simply not losing focus on the target you selected in the first place.

Randomly switching targets seems to serve no other purpose other than to annoy the player and wear out their mouse button with spam clicking. Until Bob responds to this thread we don't know the reasoning behind the way it's currently working.

Oh good, already a thread for this one :)

I strongly agree with Drvon on this! This is a Renaissance-Era shard, and auto attack being disabled is killing a bit of that feel for me. I would suggest that you please turn the passive auto-attack back on.

It's simple to enable auto-attack on RunUO, I would think it wouldn't be too hard in Sphere. My guess is the admins either overlooked this or they were waiting for our input on it.
