wepons seem to break wayy to easy nowadays as in a freshly ided ax of force lasted me about two hours of hunting, and speaking of hunting, the wood elfs in wrong no longer drop anything of worth, no bows, no swords so after mine breaks i can use theirs, rarely drop arrows, where else can someone hunt for arrows, and the armour they droped was the main bounty for hunting their,

now its only 10% chance of them dropping there weapon, which is stupid in most lower monster cases,
and I think they should always drop arrows, or w,e seeing the remainder of arrows cant be destroyed by the npc dieing,

a 10% chance is way too low for low end monsters, if i have to go through 10 of those npc's to just get a few arrows, im wasting my time.

I don't know what IceMan is on about but arrows are NOT affected, neither are reagents.
Only EQUIPPED items are affected by this.
If someone can hunt and be positive this is happening, i'd love to hear it, but i tested it on a halfdozen woodelf rangers and a few dark elf hunters and while the bow didn't always drop, arrows always did. Maybe the arrows were hidden behind armor?
And all this does is bring fully armored npcs into balance w/ the other npcs of the shard who don't carry armor in terms of gold drops/value.
A fully leather armored npc would be worth around 500 gold, while a similarly difficult monster without armor would only be worth maybe 1/8th, give or take.
I've been trying to figure out what to do about these npcs since the system went in, only recently did someone propose a solution that actually worked
well enough to put in without rending the monsters either armorless or dropless.

So now instead of getting armor/weapons etc instead of gold you are getting nothing? Or sorry there is a 10% chance you are getting something. Why even have them spawn then really?

Well... People were making too much cash there, that's true... Back to Destard, boys.

No, it's not 10% you get something.
It's 10% per item that it will survive the death. That means if it has 12 items of equipment and 1 weapon, it will probably drop 1-2 items from its equip.
AFTER this is calculated, then is gold added to the corpse.
So in other words, if the npc gets all its armor/weaps destroyed, it'll drop more gold than if it didn't.
