Firstly, I'd like to point out that the distance required to buy things from the vendor has been reduced dramatically. So it's quite annoying when the vendor walks around whilst you are shopping or when he decides to go upstairs.

Secondly, as of today, I have noticed that poly mages (while pollied) can't reach vendors at all.

Can we get a tweak on this?

Note:

I have found out that while pollied I cannot even pick up items or drop them. Is it happening to everyone or just me?

I always thought we should do away with it or atleast severly extend it, I find this one of the most irritating things in UO.

actually the distance thing still is dumb, you have to be on the property to buy :(

I also noticed this problem when you enter the place

chances are the vendors will respond to your "buy" or "sell" command from a
relative distance, if not, then one has to be on top of them, like Judas mentioned

does get quit irritating after awhile and frustrating when you have to move to
reach them just because they cannot stand still

Is there not a way to change it that if you are in the shop that is good enough you shouldn't have to be standing on top of them, or having to move the list to find the little bastard.

You need to be within 3 tiles, which is plenty far enough for wandering. What it coems down to is you also can't have something that blocks los between you.

So just don't try to buy through a bookshelf.

Or like a counter? Because realistically when you go into a shop you usually hand money over the counter to buy things, which you cannot do. And if you buy more than one thing from a vendor he is way more than 3 tiles away by the time you are done. The little fucker is usually off in another room by then.

How about increasing from 3 tiles? Wouldn't that solve the problem and make people's lives a little less miserable?

that or possibly make the whole building be accessible to buy or sell from
any location you are at (i.e. even if he/she is in another room than you are
you can still sell and buy from that specific vendor)

if to much work, then what Judas mentioned, a slight increase from 3 tiles?
