If they move at the same speed? i think so... Would be nice if pegasus, oytras, orns and stangs went faster though

also depending on the stang the speed would also vary. you know a orange
stang would be the slowest, while the red stang would be the fastest.

then oytras, orns, and pegs would be like superman :shock: NOT

we should consider making a peg be able to teleport to specific places
that one has traveled to. seeing as a Pegasus, within mythology, has the
ability to fly....now that would make the shard "unique" :shock:

I don't think so.....PvP advantages should not be given to the vets with GM everything or the rich who spend 10000 hours killing skeletons....

aka pain and fire wepons lol, if ur rich enough to buy them, then shit, u should be able to use them.....
maybe the pega should have a 1 time a day OR a delayed warp like ice elves have or something,
or have a faster speed.

not by tons but just a little nudge in speed, would be usefull for racing events,,

or maybe riding a pega should make things more easier to tame, because of it's magic aura,
some advantage, other then the leet look lol.....

i still think that pegs should have the ability to transport. a delay could
be placed, idc, i just think that pegs should have that quality :D

I always thought that way too, like with poisoning in t3a, everyone used to complain that gm poisoning did too much damage and gave the person an advantage, well if you take into account the time and money and resources it takes to gm poison why shouldn't they have a slight advantage. Are we saying now that a noobed char should be able to kill a 8 x gm char specifically designed for pvp?

I doubt we will ever implement faster rides.

Mostly due to the that fact the only way to do this that i can think of off the top of my head is a pretty resource heavy script and will be very complex. I'm sure i'll get it reduced if i actually code it and find new systems to make it work, but i think there are more important things.

Now, that's the technical side.

From a balance side i think it's a horrid idea bceause no one should ever be un-catchable, which this would make happen in short order.
Likewise races are designed to be player oriented rather than character oriented, meaning that newbies and veterans have equal chances of winning.

We're talking about races as in a race from point A To point B.
not racial characters.
