ya u do, just simply use .help and leave the tutorial before it finishes
i still have a noobied book thats almost full just by buying scrolls
or finding them off monsters

In my experience, the books you by from npc vendors are newbied and anything you find in a drop is not.

really? even the books from vendors are n00bied? that should not be happening because
i have never seen any book bought from an NPC be n00bied. only the ones acquired
from creating a new character.

books dropping as loot is probably a bug.

books i bought were never noobed as i remeber..

all items you are created with are noobed if i remeber correct

ya thats what i thought....when you make a character the items which come with
you are n00bied, but i do recall that sometimes they also disappear within a given
time (although not always). i have had plenty of n00bied books disappear out of my
backpack from time to time :?

i think that i way to know if ur spellbook is noobed is trying to sell it to vendor if he buy it is not noobed .... maybe u can try it
