well we all know the loot sucks.....this is nothing new to us atm. ever since the gold wipe everything,
including monster drops and prices at store have been altered. even a shadow lizard will drop little
to nothing at this moment....o well, happy hunting =]

Your an idiot, he said that the loot was not worth the trouble and gave the damage caused and the use of bandies as an example. Obviously it matters because the damage is different deoending on what you are wearing.

the original poster didnt really care to point out any bugs etc....since this is already a known issue, and is not the bugs section of the forum (hence the "various ramblings of the shard in the forum topic"). this is just a story for entertainment. and the giant turkey was gray....not red. it still attacked me however. and i was wearing regular plate with a shield and my warfork.

Well then that is a little different i have never sen a giant turkey that wasn't red, a grey anything attacking you is a bug. But fighting a shadow in regular plate no wonder you were getting hits as high as they were. And 350 gold seriously when you think about it is enough it may be a shodow but it is only a lizard man ffs.

well I always found shadows to be unfair lootwise...

you ALWAYS lose time compared to loot when fighting a shadow..
because it doesn't include the original monster you killed loot...

thus finding a shadow and making a shadow require different amounts of effort
0 for finding one someone left,
more for killing a original monster THEN killing the shadow.

I think shadows should have the original monsters loot + the loot from the shadow.

otherwise people will just keep leaving them in dungeons, and wait for others to clear them....
shadows = suck
they have no point in the game..

this problem is basicaly cus of the loot table that bob implemented..... so i thing since is already done he can change it more quickly....... just a few tweaks come on BOB we wanna go Hunting !!

the only problem is that hunters do not gather as much profit as they once did

is not that ppl dont hunt, is that the cash they got in 1hr killing hard mobs is low, so they need to go hunt like 2 1/2 hrs or something like that to get a good amount

I don't know if treasure maps are enabled yet, but shadows are the only way to get them. That much gold along with a lvl 2 or 3 map and a luck charm or something and the loot does not seam half bad.

Loot is screwed right now, but the game is only about 20% final scripted (if that), so don't flip out too much.

everyone just needs to be patient...sure the loot is not working at its max, but think
about it, most of obsidian is not working at its max
ppl are too quick to simply want and expect things to be fixed correctly the first time

i forgot about treasure maps lol, didn't get one in SO long,, are they still enabled?

I know things aren't near complete, I'm sure they read bobs post and realize things aren't complete. Thats horribly obvious now, and the "stop complaining because things aren't complete" post are getting more annoying than the posts there responding to.

people have to complain, there just trying to make the shard better, some people do bitch, and it is annoying, but w.e. there probably more needed then the stop complaining post.
