Dusan in brit blacksmith shop has robbed me twice while trying to train parrying.
While training parrying the hard way, it is not possible to keep from attacking the mobs you are training
it on. i personally like to use animals to train parrying, and it also helps to train healing at the same time. however i dont want my animals to die. also you cannot have your tamed pets attack you.

training with dummies takes longer than it should. sure you can pay to get to 35% or however high it is on this server, but training manually should be a bit faster imo. plus paying doesnt help you gain stats. it would help new players by getting more hp so they dont get the crap kicked out of them by zombies/skeles in brit like i do with a bunch of armor and 43 hp.

If i lock/minus stats, using bandaids on myself resets all the locked stats to plus.

While using tracking, i find the animal and it does not stop tracking....i cannot perform any other action and i waited at least 4 minutes for it to stop. the only way i could start taming and cancel tracking was by using the taming stone (and it seems thats the only time the taming stone works anyway).

if gear gets damaged, how about a way to tell how much time it has left until it gets destroyed.

tamed pets do not follow commands like they should. once you assign them to attack something they refuse to return to you during a fight when commanded....which is bad if you need to heal them. they also dont switch targets if you tell them to.

pets have pathfinding issues and tend to get stuck on....well....everything. corners of buildings...trees....rocks.

pets do not like the portals in the rune chamber. if you try to go through the town gates they will get stuck in the chamber until you go back for them. using the rune/flame portal seems to work just fine.

the music doesnt play right.

using the rune chamber to go to hind meadow (combo 1.2.6.8.9) gets you stuck. this is recurring, and had to relog to get unstuck.

scavenging since i had no weapons or armor did prove difficult. i found 3 war forks and some female plate armor......however none of the armor/weapon vendors would buy them. sadly they were thrown on the ground.....like i found them....in front of the same vendor who rips me off for parry training.

the training dummies in the fighters guild outside of brit dont work. why not?

upon installation...the client sets skillgain reports at every 1.0% by default instead of 0.1%.
as i was beating and beating on things i was wondering why i wasnt getting any gains.
however beating on a pig with a mace did give me an intelligence gain......?

and lastly.....the "bandage self" macro in options does not work. i hate running away from mobs to heal....when i could use a key bound to "bandage self" O_o

Suggestion: Do not pay him anymore money - he is likely a thief rather than a blacksmith.

There is a way you just need to figure that out for yourself or ask other players. Tamed pets aren't there for you to macro on, they're there for other useful reasons.

Valid point I'll admit. Gains will be worked on in future as many other threads have already pointed out.

Skill/stat locks do not work on Obsidian. To reduce your stats you need special potions (forgetfulness, weakness and stumble potions). To increase your stats you need special fish (wonderous, prize and rare fish). To reduce skills you need special fish (forgetful fish).

Try using tab. Tab is set to toggle warmode. If you enter warmode by attempting to use any skill - more than likely it will cancel the use of that skill.

I believe the armslore skill assists with that, and you could always have a blacksmith repair something for you.

There does appear to be a problem with the AI of tamed/summoned npcs and their role of attacking/returning. I'll write it down on a list I have for Bob.

Pets aren't as bright as humans - cut them a bit of slack.

Try using the Command All go. If this doesn't work then repeat until it does. Pets might be stubborn, but show them who's boss.

Yup we'll try and work on that. Already on the list - suggestion: don't use that runecode for the moment.

Use .bandageself
If you set the macro to say and have it say .bandageself - that will work.

ill try those things, i remember there are a lot of different things on this shard compared to runuo shards etc. as for the pets and the portals.....sometimes one would make it through....sometimes none.

as for the parry training.....is it possible by saying "train parry" instead of "train parrying" then giving him gold could be the issue? he does in fact say the same thing about training with both phrases....but maybe "train parry" doesnt trigger the actual script for when you hand him the gold. ill give it a shot and edit....

thanks for the info on statlocks. it wasnt always like this was it?

as for the durability issue....its more of a suggestion. play on some shards that have popups that show dura/dmg/enhancements....some shards dont. hopefully arms lore is a skill that will work eventually even at 0.0%

1. Pushing tab WILL stop tracking.
2. When training from npc's you have to say vendor train parry or w/e skill you want then he will give you a price, if you try to give him money b4 he gives you a price he will keep it and give you nothing.
3. If you attack an animal or mob he will attack back or vice versa. There fore you pretty much have to train a melee skill at the same time as parry.
4. If you find a place with a lot of slimes you will not only train parry and healing rather fast but a melle skill of your choice at the same time.

If your fast and good at timing your tab button you can tab out of combat mode after a hit while training parry. This will prevent you from training a melee skill, but you'll still have to train healing.

This trick will only work as long as bob does not enable insta-hit for melee skills.

you dont really have to have any sort of timeing to do the little tab thing azi,
just put uoloop on tab 500 and you wont hit anything

also doing the slimes isn't a good idea with that king goo goo around
it's better just training them in one of those rooms in a GY using the tab trick,

Drvonspawn indicated that he has played on other shards, so I'm sure he's very familiar with the 3rd party programs out there. He would have figured out how to enter the grey area of the rules without our help, he just needed to know the mechanics of Obsidian. I don't expect anyone in their right mind would sit for hours and bash the tab button wildly.

actually i only know of razor and uoassist. i liked razor because it made it easier to click on backpack items that are ridiculously small etc and repetitive tasks. but i tried razor but it doesnt like this client O_o.
