Question. Does arms lore have an effect on blacksmithing? Ive had it on my char for that long I have forgotten exactly why I trained it.

I always thought arms lore helped in determining what percentage your armour
is at......whether it needs repairing soon or is still durable as when you crafted it.
Thats what I thought it was used for :/

Makes your wepones and armour stronger also tells you if its damaged.

maybe all right to some extent.
Most of my arms lore gains have come from repairing.

I know the use of the skill itself states the condition of armour & weps & if it needs repairing. But does it actually have an influence on the armour you craft?

You could have 10% arms lore and still see if stuff is damaged. I think it is supposed to also help woth the fail rate/tagging of armor and weapons but not sure if it works correctly.
