A few things about PvP.

1) RA is still far too overpowered
2) warriors need insta-hit
3)poison pots use needs to be enabled in town, or mage poison and poison wall need to be disabled.

meh i dissagree with azi, the damage warriors do to me when im on ryoko is still pretty hi,, and i cant even cast a harm without getting fizzled, i have to run around and i still get fizzled even if the warrior misses most of the time lmao so ya when u cast ra it should stop u from being fizzled all the time by 100% of the hits

there is no magical defense on a mage, i heal better with bandies then magic, bandies were my main and only source of healing lol and theres no magical offense either cuz u cant cast at all especially in a e wall, if he has a bow just forget it
and + most of the wepons are bugged, superior bows (made with 8 logs at any skill now) are better then a +9 bow lol, vanw is 6-41 which is extremely high for a fast wepon, and the superior bows are 10-41, so really superior is better lol it seems that the magical ones miss a little less, but ya either way fighting a mage with any the mage is done,,,
ra needs to change the fizzle rate somehow, or some spell should, maybe prot, idk but its sooo pointless having a mage atm for pvp lol
adn being support chars in pvp really doesnt justify it because those will be the first chars to fall in pvp lol warriors loot all :P

wow... when i was playing last warrior's used to get pwned everytime by any half decent pvp mage :o

I would say that RA is not too high considering it is the only thing that seems to keep you from dying in 2 seconds while you are going fizzle fizzle fizzle. Unless you wear no armor in which case you stil need RA to be as high as possible.

so ya mages might as well wear val outta town and just heal like warriors LOL

the msot a mage can do is sit there and try to stay alive and run around,, theres no way there wll be offense then tho lol

ok so basically imo pvp is not balanced at all now.

first off if u have a mage ur totally disadvantaged against a warrior

1 u fizzle when hit, like 99% of the times
2 warriors can gm anat and heal trough poison

I think poison is kinda pointless now, it had a reason to be there in the past (the high damage when u gmed it, u needed to cure before healing, and u cud trow pots at a mage to make it fizzle..)

so basically I think that if u lower or completely remove the fizzle trough hit and maybe bring back the pot fizzle wud be cool tho..

A gm mage can be even raped by a noob warrior imo atm...

but um, ya forget it if ur in a e-wall,
i dont get how a single mage is supposed to kill a warrior, but ya,
keep tons of bears on u is my solution

but it still dont work,
but um, ya poison is needed to kill anther mage still, but as for warriors its typo pointless lolz

I haven't even bothered logging on to boogie since the new patch and i think you will probably see a lot more warriors pvping instead now. The old way wasn't balanced either but it was close i don't inderstand why everytime changes are made to pvp they are always drastic instead of just a few tweaks to a system that was almost balanced. :?

Since its in the right thread now MAGES NEED TO BE CHANGED i mean how many times does it have to be said i bet if you check the server status now aint no mage on and they dont plan to be either unless pvm

looking at it, poison has turned 180 into usefull for warrior only skill
well on the old system it had it's uses, for warriors fizzling mages and all. but now its just to an extreme for the warrior and for the mage, its kinda useless because of anatomy.. works great for killing tanks and mages now tho!

I swear to god next person posting that mages suck in pvp is getting forum banned for a week.

Start posting SUGGESTIONS and REAL INFORMATION that helps with balance, or don't post.
I'm not gonna wade through 30 posts of "this sucks" to find the one helpful post.

And don't say "put stuff back like it was" unless you have numbers or formulas to back your idea up.
And as i said earlier, if you're not testing after the patches that go in, don't complain. I'm not going to balance based on what people say from 5 patches ago. If ya wanna help fix and balance this stuff, get on, test with some friends, get me useful data and suggestions.

Well i dont know if this is of any use to you Bob but some features of the old pvp system i enjoyed were;

Mages cant heal via magery when poisened
above 60 anat would only cure poisen and not heal you
poisen damage caused through magery should do more dmg
weapon damage shouldnt fizzle a mage unless is high dmg (38+)
Casting speed of harm should be increased (may need a little dmg reduction to balance)
Spells should not fizzle other spells
Poisen pots should poisen the player targeted, not the tile hes standing on, and please remove the poisen cloud.
