This is in answer to much of the forum feedback we have been receiving over the past few months:

First off, we can all be happy that development is an ongoing focus and that your concerns are listened to and noted.

The developers are continuing to work on the shard and it is difficult to focus on revival/player numbers when we are still essentially in BETA.

However, for those of you that have been here a long time - I think that this is still the longest and most in depth period of continuing shard development we have seen in many years, so credit to BB and Bob for that. I am personally very excited to see the direction that our developers are taking us when all is finished.

Rest assured that when we are at a more polished state then the BETA status will be relinquished and we will focus on player acquisition and retention. When the need arises from a greater player base I will also be reviewing moderator and subsequent staff recruitment.

One step I am personally going to be driving moving forward is a greater awareness of community management to help guide us through this BETA process.

After revisiting the shard myself I am personally concerned about the vocal discontent from certain portions of the playerbase. While all feedback is appreciated, I'd like to take the opportunity to try and get everything in one place.

So, if something is annoying you. If you have a suggestion. If you'd simply like to get things off your chest and vent a little...

...Simply personally send me a PM personally...

...and I am happy to discuss anything with you. I think it's invaluable to open and promote communication channels with our players, and I look forward to hearing from you. I hope that as many of you as possible will take this opportunity to feed back directly at GM level so that the staff team can discuss any issues.

On a side note. I am also aiming to hold Weekly Q&A sessions ingame to allow players to chat about things. If you have any suggestions about times and particular points of discussion, please also send me a PM.

Beta ?

I'm was playing this server like 6-8 years ago (well, at the 1st year of Obsidian)... I'm kinda wondering how it could still be in beta ? hehe ! Did you redesign all the game ?

They have updated the server and made a lot of other changes.

I go on once in a while but stay mainly to my self for now just trying to rebuild bank accounts and testing certain things pertaining to taming.

The forums are configured to allow BBCode, I'm not sure why it's not working for you?

This is set to "on" at the forum level.
