Alright, the christmas content has finally been finished and put in. Both thanksgiving and christmas will stay active till probably halfway through january or maybe febuary, to make up for the huge downtime fiasco around thanksgiving. As always, more details on the patches are in the changelog, but for those who don't like reading, some other things of note from the past few:

Tailor dyes should be working again.
All classes should be able to ID weapons now.
Most crafted armors got minor AR adjustments, to put them where they were on T3A.
All Shields(new and old) should now function properly.

Magic items are once again dropping, under a slightly different system. Read the changelog for more details and drop percents.

I'm aware housing placement is still a little fubar, and i've been looking for ways to make it less so. Unfortunately at this time, unless i find some miracle in the next few days, it means i'm going to have to completely write a new system for creating houses from scratch, due to most of it being hardcoded behavior in the new server. So either way expect it to be fixed in the next week or two. I'm sorry staff can't place your house in the interim, but the system has some small bugs w/ staff placement that would end up having the house slowly corrupt itself over time.

Anyway that's the updates, make sure to keep your eyes on the changelogs and the bugs/suggestions forum. And post your own bugs/suggestions, every little bit helps. And who knows, get a good idea and you might see it in the next patch.

what happens if you bitchslapped your hizzouse into a box, and were told that this problem would be fixed in about a week, and that the box holding all your shits would be ok for about a week... hmmmmm... about a week ago?

is there any way to not lose my stuff? i really dont want to fetch 10k of each reg again. any preventative measure that can be taken or should i just say f*** it?

There has been posts all over telling people NOT to pack their houses until they are ready to replace it. So if you lost your stuff you are probably SOL.

More than likely he packed with intent to replace, and then couldn't get his house placed in the right spot.

And yes, your stuff should be fine. If not there's really no protective measures you can do but it's not permanently lost if it eats some of it. It just means extra work for me.
