But in this 'beta' as you call it mate i allready lost all my stuff that i managed to get over the 4 years of playing and no one gave a f*** when i posted about it, not even a sorry darr that you lost your stuff but we cant help you with this. As i said i dealt with it and moved on, i played quite a lot recently and now i hear that again i most likely to lose everything that i managed to get because some lazy people didnt log in and refresh there houses WHICH they were said to do and were warned in other posts.

that was for changing to new houses, which I did but was not aware of the whole house just needing attention thing. I logged on checked one house that was placed the same day as my other and the "taxes" were still fine so I assumed that it was fine on my other as well. excuse me for assuming things were still the same as before as I believe someone scolded us for not thinking. I lost all my High ores mostly just angry about the BR and the Rose and the fact that I will yet again have to get a gm's help to place my house.

BTW if you had a house around my mineing shack all your stuff is gone as well.

No - because this time players might be aware that the houses are actually decaying?

To be fair, the impression given in Bobs post about 'no taxes' was that the houses wouldn't be decaying at all until a 'future time' (might not be what he said, but it's certainly how it came across)

I checked my houses for a few days AFTER that comment, and they still had 30 days left - so, based on that comment (no taxes) and the fact that my houses still had 30 days to go every time I checked, I figured house decay was off.

What a surprise I get when I checked the boards today, then went to my house sites and found absolutely nothing there.

There were no decayed houses there, just absolutely nothing at all...

Well i can understand if that is the case. I dont mind a roll back do to an issue that it has to be done. And if it helps other player hey im all for it. The point i was makeing if you havent loged in 30 days to check out your house. Do you really care about it? I could make a long list of things rare things that are gone due to all that has happend. So a little ore and a few fish and gold i have from hunting the last little bit sure isnt going to hurt me.

just roll it back we dont got many pple as it is no one wants to lose all their shit.

All I'm saying is that there's been a fair amount of confusion over what was actually happening... the roll back is probably the best option.

I love this shard. I have put many hours into this shard. (as I am sure others have to the nTH degree). But this is just ridiculous.

Is the shard live or not?

If we are still in Beta mode, then don't make people feel guilty for not...



Sorry, I'm just upset because I just can't hop on anymore and do my do: throw some fish or armor on our vendors and help the community out and keep our taxes paid. Don't get me wrong. The new changes are awesome. But don't expect people to play like things are set in stone when there could be a rollback at any moment.

I will play again when things settle down (for both myself and the shard). I don't care if there are only 5 players left. Yep, take our house. Nuke it all. I know my buddy OtisMcOtis will say the same. This perpetual Beta has gone on long enough. It's fricken ridiculous at this point.

I can understad theam wanting a roll back too. I thought it was just due to not logging on due the the state in which the shard is in. Sorry didnt understand their was an issue. And cybers it will be in beta for knows how long. What i wish they would do is make a thing where you can just pack your house and bank everything tell they get everything together.

Well, my suggestion would be to have a message come up saying your house has been refreshed when you click the sign or w/e. As it was I could understand how people might think that it was not decaying because when you click the sign it ALWAYS read the same. And for whoever said only people who lost a house is whining, that is untrue. I lost nothing but here I am whining.
There are more than a few people who had probs with this and others were lucky to see the warning by Echo and for someone to complain about maybe losing 2 days of gaming vs someone else losing months or years worth is both selfish and petty. Everything is new now, to both players and staff. A little patience is needed...as well as compassion.

From what I see on the server status and from the couple times I have logged on, there should be no big losses from any kind of rollback, even if it went back weeks. Most times I check there are 0 people on and at the very most I have seen 5 or so and most are keeping the bank walls warm.
If Bob does a rollback some people will get hundreds of hours of work back. What does everyone else have to lose? A few hours of afk macroing?

Gimme a break.
