 Post subject: Pick your priorities

Lots to do, as always.

But for all that play, list the one thing that impacts you the most that you want fixed.

If it's a huge thing, try listing a smaller thing with it.

No guarantee they'll get worked on immediatly, just want a general feel of what people are running into the most problems with so i can adjust what priorities things have.

On the plus side, seems shard is almost back to normal, barring bugs and balances (crafting and skillgainexcluded, most crafting skills still need overhauls, and skillgain is still getting new formulas)

This doesn't really "impact" me as far as my actual character, but please fix that damned help button on the paperdoll so that it gives you the same menu you get when you type .help, not the sphere menu... it's still makes me nuts! :lol:

It will be really confusing for new players as well.

EDIT: Out of curiosity will the new skill gain system be "guaranteed" (successful actions of a skill at an appropriate skill level always promote gain) or the old way where gain promotion was randomized?

Personally i think the female character models have WAY to small breast
thats my biggest concerns! lets gettem breast jobs!!!!
but the next biggest problem is the crafters really lol they suckage!

Maybe the most annoying thing is hunting while not having a horse, so if youre having a tough time with a monster and you have to run, it will still follow you and hit you until you die. They are too fast.

Which adds to another thing.

If you die it becomes almost impossible to get your stuff back because the monsters are so fast, and life regenerates incredibly slow. Also the fact that theres no option to drop -1 in all stats, which is pretty helpful when youre in the middle of nowhere, or really far from an ankh and you just want to leave and not hassle about getting your stuff.

The speed of monsters I think has to do with the monster's actual dexterity level or whatever, because what ive noticed is that faster attacking monsters like harpies, run (or fly) at a really fast pace, which is just as fast as actuully running with your character. But, slower monsters like skeletons and earth elementals are super slow and take a step about every 5 seconds. The same happens with animals too.

I havent stepped into the game to hunt in a while, but last I remember most monsters were harder then they were before, maybe too hard :roll:

And zombies, ghouls, and mummies should be able to be cut and have bandages!

Well thats enough of a post for me for a month or two.

This IMO would be top priority no hunting means no economy, yes there are other ways to make money but if noone is hunting the economy will be way down.

I would like to have races fixed, or at least get an idea where they are headed so I can begin rebuilding.

After some of the tweaks in PVM my second priority would be fixing skills,
some skills either dont gain or are way too difficult to gain, or something else is messed up in there.

Some that come to mind are: cooking, mining, blacksmithy, alchemy, magery, etc.

Fix fizzle rate (should be IIRC 8% of mages health to fizzle) and maybe to combat this introduce precasting?

You are giving us too much choice, you should have a list of things (a long one lol) that you know you need to fix then put it to a forum poll, that would be loads easier.

I know you are all busy but this is taking too long to get anywhere near completed (and i fully understand why, you are all busy and doing this in your spare time), you might want to ask Broadband to frequent the sphere forums (of which hes a member of)and recruit a couple of temporary coders to take the work load off you, they will only do what they are told etc, not think of ideas for themselves etc. Im sure a lot of them would be willing to help get the shard back on the ground!

I cant help thinking you guys are making this harder for yourselves, things are being overcomplicated and too much of the players opinions are being taken on board. You wont keep everyone happy! - Obsidian was great because it was a simple shard, please dont destroy that, theres plenty of crap shards out there

Breakage of weapons/tools/armour.

Hatchets are broken quickly, armour degrades very fast, pick axes wear out half-way through a mining trip and weapons break after only a few hunting trips.

maybe some changes here

fix PvM, i can barely kill an orc, and the speed / dmg of them etc all
fix BSmithy, other skills
raise fishing a bit :p or a bit more :P
