I switched races from warlock to human being told I'd be givin an option of having a skill switched over. Guess that was a load of horse shit?

Since you seem a little hard on the uptake, I'll reinterate the point.

"However be warned: If you are going to lose a skill because of your class selection then please page requesting help and be patient waiting for a gamemaster to come and assist you in moving the skill onto another character."

So it may have been a good idea to page BEFORE doing the change like alot of people have done.

In the meantime, page me with what skill you want moved over to which char, and please give specifics so I know what it is you want exactly.

Was making a point, What if a player never read or even heard of the forums? Then he would probably be f*****.

While i agree that in-game news would be nice, the forums are invaluable to every player and i really doubt that ANY active player doesnt know about it. And if the noobs dont, they are told pretty quickly.
Also I doubt any noobs are getting their race chars screwed over

Yeah, in-game news would be cool. But it would spam the screen when you first logon. And then someone like Ven would come along and kill you while you were reading it. Heh, heh.

And apocalypse, for the past few years, we've had cybervic's patcher, which opened to the obsidian news. It opened to the news for a reason.

I haven't put in the new system that will open the news page for players when they login, once every 24 hours, but i was hoping everyone who was still playing would know enough to check the news, especially about any new systems that were put in.

The main reason for this is that most things have WAY too much information to put all the info about them in-game, and most of it can't be properly displayed unless we spend a LOT of time(hour+) making an in-game graphic for it.

So yes, please check the news or the manual of the fourms for information about any new features.

HOWEVER

the race stone itself mentions that you should "page staff if you have special circumstances(such as skill transfers)" when it gives you options to pick, and I also think the red sign next to it says the same thing, can't check, shard is down.
