My house sign says my house will be demolished is 29 days.

I checked a few more houses and they are all set for demolition too.

Why are the houses being demolished?

BroadBand posted an expalnation in the news forum. New house system, so all houses are decaying.

sucks cuz i wont be able to log on for a month after the beta thing is placed.. unless i magicly can go bak to georgia order internet have them put a new wire under the grass going to my room and then set the internet up in 28 days

You aren't "losing" your houses. You'll just need to re-deed them. When you demolish your home you'll get a deed and can place it again.

As far as how long it'll take for them to decay, we're still debating. You'll have at the very least 30 days from the timewarp if not more.

what happens to all the items from a house?

Buy a small house for 50k, move all your items into it. Then you can demolish the small house when it's not needed and sell the deed back to the vendor. 50k gold shouldn't be hard to make in 30 days

thing is i would like my house in the same spot as now, or can i redo the same thing again with the new house then once the old is gone replace it ?

You should be able to put it in the same spot after the old one is gone. But you may want to wait until after the rollback or you might have to do it again.

My question is...
If we are putting it in the same spot, after demolishing the old house should we wait for a world save before putting it back down?
