I think it's time to talk about the speed and timing of the new patch. You've probably all noticed that you are making swings much faster, as are the enemies. Here are the issues I'm having with this...
- Is the healing delay being dropped considerably for all? Considering we're getting hit more....
- The monsters are running faster. Or more likely, the delay between their steps is now less. The players are not.
- It's now really hard to make split-second decisions unless I was on speed or had too much coffee or something, and it's causing me to die a hell of a lot more than I usually did... which was quite a bit lol

yeah, monsters are way fast and when they hit you, you cant even run away
on a side note alot of the magery spells have different timings which really throws me off ><

Echo said they havent even gotten to fix pvm yet.
but the the timing on some spells really sucks, I was very good on timing the spells. I had them down on the dot, now It's totally different and sucks.

I actually beleive that the speed of the monsters is finally correct and now there is more of a fair chance for the npcs to succeed in killing people. Which makes monsters more difficult to hunt in turn makes for rarer drops and more team hunting. Which may be pretty neat to make more weapons rare since were getting new ones.

Just wanted to revisit this to say I REALLY hope the monster walk speed gets decreased at least a tad. For instance, with my miner I would usually use the Orc Fort gate to run up to the little mountain mining player village. But now, as soon as I appear there if an orc or 2 catches sight of me on foot... I can run like hell and try to divert around trees or whatever and the baddies slay me more times than not just trying to get away. And we all know... it's a LOOONG walk to ankh from that area lol.
So while I understand it shouldn't be EASY to run away from things all the time, it just seems extremely difficult to put space between you and an enemy now.

i don't think monsters should have a fair chance really its not like it's pvp and im not saying a monster shouldn't be able to kill you but the old system was great some loot tables just needed fixing like the drakes and after the loot table is fixed for them then its all good
and besides bob said everything will be the same as t3a unless he discussed or mentioned the change or will mention it hopefully this is true because at the end of all this i want to be able to kill a succubus atleast
