I like:

-Ramen Plain or "This...is...Sparta Ramen!!!!"

-Yep, the "Ram" with a dash of soy/hot sauce (I prefer something called Tai Sriracha sauce.)

-And finally, when I get me hippy hat on, I pan fry some floured tofu cubes in seseme oil until all sides are browned, followed by stir-frying whatever veggies I feel like: bell peppers, mushrooms (shitaki or plain old white), some onion, and, when I get really crazy, some cubed boneless chicken breast. Add the soy/hot sauce and some of the flavor packet to taste and then throw it in a big stainless steel bowl with the noodles (with or without the water you used to make them with).

Guilty pleasure: sometimes I'll throw in a splash of whatever vinegar I have. Rice wine vinegar is best.

God, it's late and I ALWAYS have ramen in the cupboard somewhere. I like the Nissin brand the best for some reason. And now I'm craving a damn bowl. Thanks Bob!

So... When does the Echo Ramen Fund start? Heck, just tell him it goes great with vegimite or something...hehehe...

Im with echo on this one and didnt know what ramin was.. Looked at bob's link and ive just woke up and it made me wanna be sick
Then i looked up a noodle thing we have here and it is a "ramin style instant noodles." It looks a whole lot nicer tho!!!!!!

Heh i think in most countries you'll find some sort of fast noodle dish, just with a diff name.....except in the land of aus obviously - unless Echo is like out in the bush (*just about holds off making any daft jokes....)

Here you get them in cups or in blocks in flats of like 40 packs. Almost any flavour you can think of. Remind me when Emma goes home and I may be able to send some. Right next to her stock of Butterfingers.
