I remember all of them Valor. Ika real (or however you spell his name) was a good pvper as well. The high guy you speak of is probably "van impe". The good ol' days where we just had wars were amazing. less arguing and more killing!!

I remember that Ika went way back. I remember being at the top of my game when meeting him. He had come back after not playing for a while, and he came to me stating that he heard i was the guy to beat. We faught....and we couldn't kill each other, lol, so we became friends. Good times!

Always nice to read these posts once in awhile to realise the best days are way over, and not to get involved again.

I´d put my money on the year or two before obsidian got closed over the summer and eternal-myst took half the playerbase. It was the first time i played uo, mustve been 7 years ago now, and im sure it took me 2 months to realise how to work a warrior even. UO will never be as good as it was back then, even if most of us couldnt even play the game.

One time on Vlad I got ganked at the bottom of a dungeon by three GM mages from 'The Returners'.

I had a full pack, so I couldn't run, and yet I managed to escape up three dungeon levels and runed out just as they caught up and find out where I was.

This was all down to a conversation I'd been having with Duo about taking my pvp to the next level, and he was saying that the greatest weapon I have was line of sight.

So, cue several dungeon levels of walking round corners as the mages cast spells. fizz fizz fizz fizz...

Little did I know that I actually had two GM's watching who had come to answer a page from earlier but ended up watching the whole thing (I believe Sonne and CV, although I may be mistaken) who rofled.

So yes, thats how you survive a 3 GM red pker mage gank with a full pack for 10 minutes. I almost cried with laughter afterwards

i do remember when valor took out lov all by himself in town in front of everyone and looted the entire guild.

they were noobs and he was by far the best mage on the shard so it was really the best thing for them it taught them to at least die and get looted with dignity. and to stand together.

i always remember zhad being a cocky sob and rightly so but never a bad sport and always willing to give advice.

rabdhul was a bit overrated imo. mythrandir was a joke noob killer at best i remember me and death dealer owning him when he tried to pk us when we were still noobs. and we were really shitty. (still are)

ive either seen or fought you all and there is no doubt the best pvper on obs ever is ashes once he peaked, then kilo and probably bm. warrior would have to be duck. there were so many good warriors past and present. also zhad, fierce, garr's mage... there were so many pple i respected, great memories. all my guildmates who own me but still treat me with respect, my friends forever.

zur you were awesome for your time and one of the coolest vets you always kept your honor and that is rare here esp for a pk.

i could type 100 paragraphs about this shard and not even be started good lol.
