 Post subject: 3/2 Small Patch

There was a small patch tonight.
  • Necromancy
    Well we fixed necromancy again. Hopefully this will be the last of the major fixes on it. We had to remove the Undead Rage spell but in its place we put in Flame Whip which I think looks pretty bad ass. What the effect actually does i would tell you but if i did you would be 6feet under.
  • Magic Weapons
    We did some improvments to the existing magic weapons!
  • Tailoring
    I got fed up of a certain tailor who kept asking for the specail dyes to be named with the color so well I did just to get them to shut up. Not really that big of an improvment but now non tailors will be able to ask for colors more specifically rather than that "cool red".
  • Rune Chamber
    I added some new codes to the list of places you can get to. You can now get to Avatar (Fire) Isle through the rune chamber. I have to warn you since I am the one who picked the locations of the new spots you might want to be careful because some arnt so pleasant of a destination *CAUGH*Hyloth Level 4*CAUGH*
We did other small fixes too. Some of the fixes deal with some monsters.

Page in game and it shall be so.

Just a note to ya'll also about necromancy. You must have a Magery Book in your backpack along with the necro book now. You wont have a problem with having to move them around in your pack to get them to work. I will be wanting feedback on necromancy too. Post your thoughts and concerns in the Bug/Suggestion Forum. Try to keep it too one thread per topic. I dont want to be seeing 10 different threads about the skill gain or why necromancy isnt working for you. Keep them together and it makes it easier for me. It also allows you to see what other people have already said. Remember be as specific as possible too.

Dont Say- Jorus you suck cause Total Protection doesnt work

Say- Total Protection doesnt seem to work. I have had the problem in and out of guarded areas. I see myself say the words of power and my mana is put down but nothing else happens.

This helps because I wont have to look through all the code to find the problem.

The last thing you do before logging out should be to page Jorus with your location and problem...That way he might (I have no idea if he can, but he said this to another player, albeit with another problem) be able to fix it even though you're offline...

Oh...And go to a not overly populated area (ei. get out of Brit or whereever you're at...)

Necromancy: - tested (11:55 PM) : 03/02/04
tested again at (07:21 PM) : 03/03/04

Light, works perfect

stamaina drain is perfect

reconstruct works perfect,
but it has an extra select hand after casting

web works perfect

total protection is working,
but has an extra select hand after casting

hallucination works perfect

drain mana
1)does little to nothing on giving back to the caster maybe 5-10 mana back when the spell takes 5 mana to cast and has around a 50 percent chance of hitting the victom which is kind of a turnoff with having to cast from a book, makes it useless
2)it also has a problem with when your mana is below 40 mana you can not cast it

firebolt is kind of harsh to cast with being a lower attack spell, with 142 mana 3 hits and its all gone, this is also a problem with multiple fizzles maybe because it runs off magery which went down 20 points.

OMG - How can you be casting firebolts already...I've spend hours and hours casting necro spells, and I've only gone up 0.7 points...And my meditate has only gone up 0.1 in that time...
