Slightly off topic but speaking of poison... would training resist help resist poison pots as well as magic? In normal combat my char is pretty damn good but once she is poisoned she is toast- I dont usually carry cure pots with me when i am clearing spawns or something so if I meet a PvPer with poison skills I may as well just hand over all my stuff and cut off my own head. LOL

Resist does nothing against poison except to resist the spell maybe 1 out of 8 times it is casted on you. As far as protecting yourself when clearing spawns and such most pkers on here only hunt the dungeons it is highly unlikely that they will look out in the wild for players.

HA! I was killed twice in a row by ereaser while clearing spawns, it does happen. Cant do much to save myself from him tho lol.

Well perhaps the only thing you can do there is to start some new spawns in totally random areas noone will find you there.

Thats a grand idea... pm me when you figure out new places to spawn oytras. lol Nah I am not putting down the idea but some animals cant be spawned just anywhere. All I really wanted to know about was poisoning, I am not trained to handle pvp, and I was just trying to figure out how to last for more than a heartbeat against ereaser and black magic lol besides GMing resist I dont know how. I think I'll just start carrying gate weps so I can wall and gate out. Thanks for the advice tho Belgarion.

The only other solution albeit a pain in the ass to run to the ankh to rez all the time is to only take with you armor and weps that you don't mind losing. Also you could use a char with magery and be ready to recall out. Other than that there is no other solution. Gate weps are also a good option.
