i agree 100% with azi... when i was a noob, there were tons of ppl who were starting out together and most of them either left or were banned... from my time, the ones that remained are: me, bruno and nme... there were tons of noob events and at the time there were 60+ no matter what time of the day.

the relations with players did take its toll, and i think some good and bad decisions were made along the way. but most of the time, the staff were powerless to do what they really needed and/or wanted to do. it was in no way their fault, they had their hands tied in a lot of issues. the dedication is there but even they are human and may feel down as well.

Ok heres how it goes, nowadays if a free shard wants to stay afloat, it needs to be all based on pvp. Meaning we need active staff, staff that hosts events at least 5 a day. With some sort or real rewards system for joining/winning events. Staff and players need to learn how to run/attend events, i have played many a shard and obs is the worst at organiation/speed with events, its like a cluster f*** that takes an hour to even start. People are scared to go out and pvp, so to bring pvp you need a stable and working event sytem, which will in turn bring the econonmy up with ar/ and wep usuage higher. Also we need to advertise, vote more which is a given.

As for staff coruption, its a free shard and its going to happen every once and a while, it will be dealt with if need be in due time. There is no escaping staff corruption, so roll with the punches.

I would like to see a duel arena of some sort, were player can duel each other, for be it loot or money, or just free. some sort of safe enviroment were all players red/blue can dule each other trade etc.

Don't forget we are on a sphere server here so bugs are part of the game, do you think that after 10 years they would have perfected sphere, but they haven't. Bugs will always be around, and alot of the time with sphere when you fix a bug, you get a bug. So get used to it, bugs are part of sphere and always will be.

Just a statement... When i started it was because i saw a torrent called

"Free Online Game" on suprnova... I didnt even know how to do anything but hit a training dummy for the first couple weeks.. Took 4ever and 3 or 4 started chars before i settled on one maxcarnage.. He was human.. I learned oh i dunno 4-6 months later i shouldnt have made a human warrior..

Thats all we need is a bunch of new players who have never played UO before.. They wont even care about the issues going on if cove is alive with activity.. I didnt leave cove for a looong time when i started.. I remember the first time i didnt poof i had no idea that would happen.. And i was looted. Katrina Ramsey was mining inside cove mines at the time... I ran through the mines naked screaming I Died I Died NooooooO!!! Wtf Wtf!! It was in the orc fort Near the entrance just outside the wooden fences if i remember correctly.. The first time i went to britain (which was hard then there were no portals) it was like an adventure into some crazy new game... So i dont think people are going to give up playing after a week and having more players will help everything.. What are the chances we are gonna run into the same bittorrent users twice anyway.. We should have a new torrent up as soon as one dies..

Ok first of all,as far as I know,ONLY a seer can locate people ,not sure about that but I think only seer's and up can do it. Secondly,as vlad said,we have our own ways to monitor those places,and whole lot of others. Start thinking about some shit,maybe you'll get the point and be smart enough to handle the smart pk'rs.And emo don't talk smack about
