Ever seen Band of Brothers? It was an HBO mini series, Spielberg and Hanks made it right after Saving Private Ryan, but it's way better than that and most any other war film imho! check it out
i was so addicted to band of brothers
I wouldn't have expected that... I never saw the whole thing, but the parts I did see were awesome! and Saving Private Ryan was a great movie too, make no mistake

Killing and Boobies!!!! You can't go wrong with Band of Brothers for sure.
IMO the best war movie ever, Full Metal Jacket.

Full Metal Jacket is a great classic, but I personally enjoyed Platoon and Apocalypse Now...

One thing is for sure the Viet Nam war was good for the movie business just think of the millions made off movies and television shows made of that war.

I haven't seen Hamburger Hill, but if we're gonna throw in all sorts of good war movies to own, one must include The Great Escape... that was a fantastic movie! Heartbreak Ridge was a pretty good flick too, though more of a modern war movie than anything...
