well you can.... but that involves A LOT of rolling and not batheing for 4+ months or at least not washing your hair. and they come out very nasty.

in the time you roll your own hair u coulda remaid the money,, and you can easily get a girl to do it though,,, thats what i did,, but i never let it lock, couldn't stand not washing my hair for more than 2 weeks,
but i would never let it hang as long as it is i keep mine braided in tied plats or maybe longer plats but never full length,
in all to me having hair that goes past your soldiers is gay

Yeah! We weren't having a pissing contest. Like sub said we were just discussing how to make dreads. I was just pointing out that you can wash your hair regularly and still have dread locks. Really, I wish people would read the posts properly before misinterpreting them.

yeah you are supposed to wash your dreads regularly AFTER they lock, back combing and beeswax is the fastest way to get them to lock. or you can naturally just use the oil in your hair and rolling (which is very gross I don't recomend it)
